    I am all for marriage equality. Voted for it in my own state, but I was in the minority. I think this requires a court case predicated on the First Amendment, but…

    I am sorry to say this, but…with 25% of American's unemployed and rising…this isn't the big issue for me now. I'd like to vote out everyone who takes Lobby money or contributed to corporatism in some way.

    Rights to visit partners in hospital rights to propriety. health care and benefits. Rights to pick up thier children from school ect ect.

    Putting aside my personal beliefs about gay marriage for the time being, I completely disagree with what Cynthia Nixon is doing, and I do not think she will get very far with this. New York State Senators were chosen by the people of NY to represent them. If they are voting against gay marriage, then the majority of people in the STATE of NY, (not just the city and celebrities who reside there) are against gay marriage! I'd also like to add that if she is going after NYS senators who are against gay marriage, she should also go after our President, as he is opposed to gay marriage, too.

His partner is able to receive benefits from his company because they have lived together for many years.
