DMX Arrested!
What else is new?
Rapper DMX was arrested after allegedly violating his probation by using illegal drugs. His lawyer is now trying to get Dr. Drew's attention saying of his client:
"He's been battling addiction for some time and he's in need of treatment. We're hoping that maybe Dr. Drew might be able to help him. He's a talented man…We're praying for him."
DMX was in jail just last year for charges of drug possession, animal cruelty and theft. He was released in May 2009 and sentenced to 18 months probation for threatening a guard while in the slammer.
You know Dr. Drew will respond — he's getting to be a pretty big famewhore himself these days!

I HAD THE AWESOME EXPERIENCE OF MEETIN DMX LAST SEPTEMBER AT A SHOW HE DID IN DETROIT AND I HAVE TO SAY IT WAS A GREAT SHOW HE DID A GREAT JOB CHECK IT OUT ON YOUTUBE UNDER DMX AT CHENE PARK……. I THINK HIS SOUL IS TORMENTED, AND I THINK HE IS CARRYING AROUND A HUGE BURDEN AND HAVING TROUBLE DEALING WITH IT… AND IM NOT JUST TALKIN ABOUT DRUGS, YEA THATS WHAT EVERYONE HIGH UP WANTS US TO THINK THAT HE IS JUST SOME CRAZY DOPE FIEND BUT THAT ACTUALLY IS NOT THE CASE… CLEARLY THERE IS AN ISSUE BUT THERE IS ALOT MORE TO THE STORY THAN MEETS THE EYE, YA DIG! why would you say that about dr. drew? i find him to be very sincere with his patients & genuinely concerned with tackling addictions and getting the message out that drugs will kill you.

Everyone should go back and listen to the old Loveline radio show with Dr. Drew and Adam Carolla. Dr. Drew is an excellent, insightful doctor, and an all-around good guy. Most people who go through rehab programs end up back where they started; it's only a few who make it out. People watching Dr. Drew's shows don't understand that and get involved in the lives of these addicts with overly optimistic ideas.
To sum up: Dr. Drew is the best.

First of all Dr. Drew is not a famewhore, he loves to help people and is very passtionate about his work. Ur just a hater perez. u try and call ppl out for being famewhores, when ur the biggest famewhore out there under lindsy lohans parents!!! i love ur website and im a fan but damn u need to lighten up on some ppl and dog the ones that truly need doggin!
With all the trouble and his drug-filled past, I'm thinking he has no plans of getting clean anytime soon… Not even Dr. Drew can help him…

The animal cruelty was done when DMX was on tour he left his uncle in charge of the animals and the property DMX was charged as he was the owner.

Dr. Drew didn't look for fame, it has come to him - He's well respected and people just like to watch him.
I use to listen to Love line on KROQ with Dr Drew and Adam Corolla back in the day about 16-17 years ago. He's not a famewhore and I actually called in once for help myself - Perez doesnt know shit about the man, he's a real certified doctor and deserves some respect. I have never seen him act or talk disrespectful towards anyone.

Calling Dr. Drew is just the start of the tour of contrition spin for any repeat offender. Getting religion is next. Until the next arrest. The animal cruelty thing pisses me off. No man hurts an animal and still calls himself a man.
He needs to care where he leaves his animals if he goes away on tour, and check their references.
