It's the news that Quentin Tarantino is looking to do a romantic comedy for his next film project!
The Inglorious Bastard is hoping to take the genre "out of the ghetto", as he puts it, and give his own personal touch to it. He explains:
"I have done love stories, they've just been in my other movies. True Romance's title was not ironic. Sure, James Gandolfini almost beats Patricia Arquette to death and she has to blow him away with a shotgun but that doesn't mean it's not romantic. It just has to be done my way and I think people want me to do it my way."
That just squeals romance!
At least you are sticking to what you know while trying something new!

Not that I'm a huge fan of Tarantino's films, but you gotta admire the dude for sticking with his own visions, and refusing to buy into the "Blockbuster Crap Cookie Cutter" way of making movies, like 98% of Hollywood.
I'd see one of his movies 1000 times before you could pay me to see shit like, oh, I dunno… "She's Out Of My League," a film which pretty much glorifies all that is wrong with the fucking country. Y'know, white trash whores and stupid douchebags who think hot chicks wearing no underwear is … evolved.

Re: Brainiac – True that. Once I started watching Pulp Fiction, I had to finish the movie. I think it's because I couldn't quite believe what I was actually seeing. Nothing like a hard dose of Tarantino to wipe the wonderful world of Disney out of your dendrites.
