Careful Leonardo DiCaprio, you're diluting the Jewish race! Well, according to Jewish extremists you are.
On behalf of nationalist group Lehava, far-rightist Baruch Marzel wrote a letter to hottie Bar Refaeli urging her not to marry Leo.
Seriously. Marzel wrote to Bar:
"It is not by chance you were born Jewish.
Your grandmother and her grandmother did not dream one of their descendants would remove future generations from the Jewish people.
Assimilation has forever been one of the enemies of the Jewish people."
The representative of the group which seeks to prevent assimilation among Jews, then added that he "has nothing against Mr. DiCaprio, who I have no doubt is a talented actor."
Marzel pleaded again, adding:
"Come to your senses, look forward and back too - and not only the present.
Don't marry Leonardo DiCaprio, don't harm the future generations."
What the hell is he talking about? It'll be up to Leo and Bar if they have children and decide to raise them in the Jewish religion.
And we can bet their children will be gorgeous!

Being Jewish is more than a religion, otherwise these people wouldn't make a big stink about who some model chooses to marry.
Not that I believe this story, but what they're asking Bar is to marry someone of the same Jewish heritage that she has, so that the children will be full-blooded Jews. JUDAISM IS MUCH MORE THAN A RELIGION!!! Tons of people who call themselves Jews do not believe in that religion at all! More than half of all Jews in Israel today call themselves "secular," and don't believe in God or any of the religious beliefs of Judaism. Half of all Jews in the United States don't belong to any synagogue. They may practice some of the rituals of Judaism and celebrate some of the holidays, but they don't think of these actions as religious activities. The most traditional Jews and the most liberal Jews and everyone in between would agree that these secular people are still Jews, regardless of their disbelief. Clearly, then, there is more to being Jewish than just a religion!!!! Most secular Jews think of their Jewishness as a matter of CULTURE or ETHNICITY. When they think of Jewish culture, they think of the food, of the Yiddish language, of some limited holiday observances, and of cultural values like the emphasis on education.
