More Avatar This Summer!
If you missed it in 3-D, you might get another chance to see James Cameron's epic Avatar this summer and with added scenes!
Cameron and Fox are in talks to re-release the highest-grossing film in late summer with added scenes as the recently released Alice in Wonderland has overtaken the Imax cinemas.
The director has said he could add up to 10-12 minutes of added footage and he'd be a fool not to! The demand to see the film in Imax is still there since nearby 3-D digital screens that are still playing Avatar have seen an increase in sales since Alice went up on Imax.
There are also talks of one or two Avatar sequels, but there is no script or deal in place yet.
We have a feeling we'll be seeing and hearing more about Avatar for quite some time!

This movie only made the money it did because the same group of people- lonely,geeky, never had a girlfriend,probably spends all day on his computer while living in parents basement-guys saw it over and over again and can quote it line for line ad nauseam. They will be the same ones seeing it again for the "extra" scenes, and James Cameron gets richer off these guys. Sad, really.
Alice in Wonderland will never over take Avater. From what I have been hearing Alice sucked big time.
This is sick. Hasnt he made enough money already.

Loved the movie in fact im going see it again before it leaves theaters, so of corse i'll go see the extended version. Also havent see Alice yet because all my friends said it wasnt that great, but not to worry im sure it'll be just as good on demand….

it has no need for more scenes. I liked the movie but by the last hour I was squirming for it to be over with.

i'm sorry, WHY do we need more of this movie? Oh no… can't have Alice in wonderland be successful, better step all over that. no wonder you didn't win an oscar james. This is the same titanic overreaction all over again
