We'd expect nothing less from Santa Angelina!
Angelina Jolie donated $75,000 to build a primary school for girls in Tangi, Afghanistan where the education facilities were once unsuitable for girls.
The new school with eight classrooms can accommodate up to 800 girls in two shifts which is amazing for the education of women in the country. Says a local teacher:
"This is what we needed here and I believe there is a need for every community if we want to build the future of our country – to build schools and get education."
How wonderful — and there are also plans to provide secondary education for girls as well in the new school!

And, just to let you know… many aspects of schools improved during the Clinton years. Teen pregnancy rates dropped (well, until your boy Bush started pushing abstinence only… now we see teen pg rates rising again), violence in schools has been on a steady decline since Clinton took office. I've been hearing for 3 decades how the poor education system in the U.S. is going to destroy our competitiveness. Yet every year since that time the U.S. is in the top three nations according to the CCI. I hear all this crap about our public schools, but the fact is that if you normalize for socioeconomic status and family "values" (as in, how much t.v., two parents, dinners together, etc.) public school children slightly outperform their private school counterparts. Are there shitty schools? you bet. But while you're bashing schools - remember that they educate everyone. From the profoundly retarded like RobPnMe to my 17 year old who already has 3 AP classes under her belt as a sophomore.

Angelina and Brad have donated their time and plenty of money in the United States. They have the Make It Right Foundation and they have The Jolie/Pitt Foundation that gives money to all different charities in the US. Love the comments about her being a homewrecker and stealing Jen's husband. When people are truley connected to one another and are in a loving relationship I cannot see a homewrecker actually being able to split up the connection. Maybe a one night stand during a weak moment, but the marriage would of survived. Obviously there were problems and Brad found someone eles he would rather be with. WTF that was like 5-6 yrs ago and Angie and Brad are still together. Time to get over the Homewrecker crap.
