At the Paley Festival in Beverly Hills on Saturday, the cast of creators of Glee> gathered to greet 2,000 fans and give deets on the show.

We discovered some fun facts like Coldpay and Bryan Adams were dumb enough to deny the hit show from covering their songs. Not to mention the exciting news the diva Kristen Chenoweth is coming back!!!!

Here are some HIGHlights of the discussion:

Creator Ryan Murphy on Puck and Rachel:
"Yes, they will get back together. But the great thing about Puck is he's a bad boy so he has an affair with almost every girl on the show."

On Lady Gaga:
"We're doing an episode that's a tribute to theatricality. We reached out to Lady Gaga and she said, 'Yes, I'd love to be a part of it.' So we will be doing Lady Gaga this season."

On Madonna:
"I've worked with Madonna before. I admire her greatly and I'm friends with her a little bit socially. I called her up and wrote her a letter and said we want to write up a tribute to you and she said yes and she cooperated in every way possible. We do 10 songs altogether. Jane is going to do 'Vogue.'"

On a possible guest appearance by Julia Roberts:
"I just finished a movie with Julia, Eat, Pray, Love. She saw the rough cuts and fell in love with the show. I don't know if Julia's gonna do it, maybe. But she loves the show."

Matthew Morrison on Neil Patrick Harris:
"We're filming right now with him and Joss Whedon. He plays a high school rival of mine. Two years older than me. He got all the girls and the good songs. He's on the school board and trying to take down the glee club. We have two duets, Aerosmith and Billy Joel."

Jane Lynch on Sue Sylvester lines that didn't make it the final cut:
"Shut your mouth before I rape it. Rachel wears floor length denim skirts that make her look like she's escaped from a polygamist compound. I will kick you square in the vagina."

Ha! Amazeballs!!

I was hoping this post was an update but it is nearly the same information as a post a couple hours ago.

  2. 2

all these glee spoilers are really pissing me off

  3. 3

I think good for coldplay and bryan, because no disrespect to the glee kids, but most of them don't even understand a lot of the music they're singing especially rock, rock was not meant to be lessened for a sing a long/glee type show. I mean it's rock and roll for christ sake, unpredictable, wild, rebellious, not this type of stuff. I like the glee kids, and I love rock, but the two together kinda makes no sense.

I think it was smart for Coldplay and Adams to decline. Like punkrocklives91 said, Glee isn't the best venue for all songs. I really don't want to hear some whimsical, theatrical version of Clocks.

    Re: punkrocklives91

Lol. I don't think you understand how loltastic that statement was.

BUT! YES! PUCKLEBERRY REUNION FOR THE WIN!

  6. 6

OLD NEWS! That still sucks though I LOVE Bryan Adams and Coldplay's cool too so that's a shame. They could have pulled it off not all of them but a few of them could.

Well la-dee-da, a music legend known as Bryan Adams (and a Canadian) didn't want his awesome songs covered by unknown teenagers on a show for teens…..uh huh……and you call it a stupid move when these people have been famous on their own for many years now and will go down in music history compared to a show that is going to last 4 seasons? Prove me wrong!

  8. 8

Man I would have loved it if sue had said that polygamist compound comment that would have been hilarious considering i live 30 minutes from that compound lol hahaha

  9. 9

IDK….I hope this show doesn't turn into a big ol' celebrity circle-jerk… I mean most of the celebrities they are bringing to the show are all way over-exposed anyway. What I loved about Glee was that it was all these unknown kids with huge talent! I like seeing new faces, I don't need to see the same people i already see on television, in magazines, in the blogs and in the news on Glee as well…it was kinda my artistic escape! Finally! I thought, a scripted show that celebrates talent in all shapes and sizes, but now its gona be regurgitated celeb fodder…So, this is a BAD idea…but w/e..sink your own show! see if i care. ill just stop watching. The celebrity thing is so overplayed and its gona make the show lose its appeal by the end of the season! WE R SICK OF CELEBRITIES! we want real kids who remind us of our friends not these stars who sit up in their ivory towers and only come down to make a buck or enhance their exposure….

Re: punkrocklives91 – Well said, and with all due respect, Bryan Adams certainly doesn't 'need' Glee, lol.

  15. 15

not everyone gets all gay for that show pig boy, quit being a douche

  16. 16

Still no story on Gaga collapsing on-stage in New Zealand and being outted as a complete lip-syncher in the process?? U post every other damn thing about her even made up shizz!!

  21. 21

glee and rock, glee and rock, glee and rock, NO! glee is for 70s type cornball songs. mario you thing you know music, YOU DON"T. stay in hollywood. YOU DO NOT KNOW THE REST OF AMERICA

  22. 22

  24. 24

Amazeballs in your mouth boy humper!

  25. 25

Re: FemaleFilmMajor – Hmmm… kinda ironic that a 'femalefilmmajor" is so sick of celebrities.

But yeah, i know what you mean. And I'm so excited about joss whedon!!!!! hoe SPIKE makes a guest appearance, he has a great singing voice.

  26. 26

"I will kick you square in the vagina" is my new phrase. Lisa Lampinelli did a bit a few years back about falling and breaking her vagina and that was funny as hell. this is equally as much :)

  27. 27

Hey perez-you ever gonna report about Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes having had broken up earlier this yr?? No, it will be late news for u!

  28. 28

    This show SUCKS…….
    NO WONDER THEY SAID NO…..
IT WILL SOOOOOOOO BE OFFFFFF THE AIR BY THE END OF THE YEAR…..

  29. 29

Agree with the folks who say rock and Glee don't mix! I'm just waiting for a cover of Metallica's classic 'Master of Puppets'

  30. 30

FUCK YOU MARIO!!!!! YOUR A DOG FUCKER!!!! THE FUCK IS AMAZEBALLS??!!

  31. 31

Good for Adams and Coldplay (not Coldpay as you spelled it you illiterate douche) for not selling out to some cheesy and predictable show like Glee. But not surprised that famewhore Gagme would agree to an episode, her music will never have the staying power that real musicians have, she's just the flavor of the month. The real test is 20 years from now, if an artist's music is still being played. Hers will long be forgotten. She's nothing but gimmicks and outfits, anything to get noticed, and she's the furthest thing from edgy. Plus she can't dance worth shit.

    Re: lilacfunk

its possible to love film and not like lame over exposed celebrities! There is an entire world where actors and actresses are just actors and actresses…like a normal job, and then at the end of the day they go home to their average size houses and get up in the morning and do it again like the rest of us. Being a celebrity does not mean you belong in a film! i think there are enough examples of why…if you can't think of one look up Gigli. watch it. try to survive

  33. 33

Re: LovelyCup – Maybe not Clocks, but Viva la Vida would be cool.

  34. 34

This saddens me, but there are plenty of other artists in the sea.

  35. 35

    lol fabulous!

  36. 36

I watched an interview with Julia Roberts saying that she only said she'd make an appearance just to suck up. So…lulz. That all went to hell.

  37. 37

    COLDPLAY!!! Not Coldpay sir!!!

Anyway, I'm glad Coldplay turned down this offer. They have no need to be commercialized like most artists these days!!!

But on the other hand…if someone reached out to use their song for a good cause, you know they'll definitely jump on the band wagon! They're all about doing good deeds!

    Looooove em!

  38. 38

I think it's pretty great when any musician refuses to allow Glee to sanitize their work and boil it down to a bland, lowbrow piece of crap version of what it used to be.

And this is coming from someone who loves covers.
