Buffy's BFF Gets Drunk & Tries To Slay A Cop!
This is just sad!
Nicholas Brendon is best known for his years as Xander on the hit show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This morning, however, he was known as the fool who allegedly took a swing at a couple of cops before hopelessly trying to flee the scene… while being wasted, of course!
Police responded to call about a drunk man causing some trouble in Venice, CA early this morning and arrived to find Nicholas showing off his boozey swagger. When they approached him, Nicholas came up with the BRILLIANT plan to fight the cops and run away.
That's exactly what Buffy would have done!
Well, he took a swing…and a miss at the police and then desperately ran to avoid arrest. Little did he know that the cop was carrying a taser and dropped his ass faster than you can say, "Jaafar Jackson."
After a brief stint in the hospital, he was booked on felony vandalism charges for allegedly damaging some property during the scuffle.
But nothing about trying to deck out a cop??? We think that's a bit worse!
Oh well! Hope you have some slaying royalties lying around for bail!

He went to rehab several years ago. He needs to get it back under control, yo.
Oh poor guy, He's had some problems with alcohol for a while now, I hope he goes back to rehab and gets better………I just really really hope i dont see him on the next season of Celebrity rehab….i swear i'm the only one who hates that show. Shame on you Dr. Drew

i loved him in Buffy…. i just LOVED that show! hope he pulls himself together.
This is the problem with hollywood, even when they are "Working Hard" it still means that they get months off at a time, they are spoiled, have a little extra cash and nothing to do all day..hence why half of them are junkies or drunks.
Tallchick, you're not the only one who thinks Dr.Drew is a parasite. Every time I see him do his "sad concerned face" i feel ill. I was a huge Buffy fan and I hope Nicholas gets the help he needs. Alot of times it takes more than once to defeat an addiction, and fame, especially when it fades, seems to come with it's own unique set of problems.

Poor guy. He's been struggling with alcoholism for quite some time. Hopefully he can recover soon.

Poor Nicholas. He was good as Xander, but his career seems to have stalled since then. I hope he gets strong and gets help.

Why is alcohol so cheap and easy to get ? It causes more health problems, injuries & deaths than pot. Shouldn't there be limits on the amount people can have? ( like with pot. )

I hate tasers. They are used too much by police and they are dangerous I know they have a place in security, but if this account is true, the guy was running away from them and had no weapon and posed no threat to anybody (except maybe himself). Overuse of tasers is becoming a national problem.
It's behavior like that that gets actors no work in the future. Did he think he was filming when it happened? I wonder….
