Sources are claiming that Kate Winslet has turned to her Titanic costar for support during this difficult separation from her husband, Sam Mendes.
Apparently, things started getting rough for Kate and Sam during the filming of Revolutionary Road, so Leo has been there since the beginning of the couple's end.
Plus, the duo's "brother and sister" relationship has always made it easy for them to support one another. A source explains:
"Kate feels like she can tell Leonardo anything. They were thrust into stardom together and were the only people who knew what the other was going through. He's been a rock for her."

Ya so what I don't understand is him giving her a expensive personal piece of jewelry (the inscribed ring) knowing her troubles with her husband at the time he gave it to her when filming was over. And plus she wore it on her ring finger beside her wedding band. That is so odd and wrong. But their love for each other isn't wrong. I hope they embrace is more now. Even during her acceptance speech-she told Leo she loved him a million times and said it only a few to her husband. She talked more like Leo was the husband and Sam was just the director instead of the husband/director.

I think the beginning of the end for Sam and Kate was last year at the Golden Globes when in her acceptance speech, Kate thanked Leo before her own husband and she also hugged Leo at the table first when they announced her as the winner.
