Kendra Wilkinson sorta slammed Kate Gosselin's parenting skills on Wednesday morning's Today show!
The upcoming season of Dancing With the Stars was a topic of conversation, and Kendra bluntly stated:
I would definitely say no to [DWTS], because I am that mom that wants to be there every step. I don't want to spend three months away from my baby. I just couldn't do that.
Ouch!
The kind-hearted Wilkinson was quick to apologize, though, posting on her official Twitter: "Didn't mean to bash Kate just meant to say I hate leaving my baby..lol. Sorry if ppl took it that way."

I think you're trying to make an issue over something that isn't even there. Kate is not the only mother in the world and she certainly isn't the first parent to ever be on this show.
Kate has been given flack for a lot of the things that she does and grant it, although I'm not the biggest fan of the Gosselin's, let's face it — she's a single mother of EIGHT. She's got to make a living somehow and if that means exploring every avenue out there (LEGALLY) then more power to her. Would it be better if she took advantage of tax payers and take from the government instead?

Most working Mom's would kill to have the money she's already banked by pimping her kids out. And maybe most working Mom's would actually want to be around their kids - instead of paying for 5 nannies, personal bodyguard, etc. - dropping their overhead by a good $200,000 might mean they didn't have to leave so much for work.

I don't know why everyone is so fast to diss Kate. Almost everyone on that show on DWTS has had at least one child, Pamela has more than one and it hasn't been mentioned at all about her leaving her little ones, it shouldn't matter if you have 1 or 8 kids. We don't here about Angelina leaving the kids to make a movie because she is a movie star and what a bad mother she is. Lave Kate alone and realize you are judging her for no reason other than you want to make a story.
Some differences that come to mind, Kendra has a husband that can support her, and Kate has 7 more children to support.

I have 4 kids. Adore them, would give my life for them. They were several years apart. Eight kids, 6 all the same age….come on folks, even I have to admit I would be LOOKING for excuses to get the F out of the house for some ME time. If I had all those kids all at once, I would have gone OUT OF MY MIND! She is STILL young, she is like every other mom and deserves to ENJOY life. Parents learn pretty damn quick that kids are a HUGE part of your life, always will be…but kids should not be your entire life. Kids are far happier and more well rounded when mom is HAPPY.
As for Kendra, she is the typical first time mom. You know, you are a mom for about 15 minutes and feel that you know ALL about mothering and can teach a few things to the mom with 8 kids…yeah right…and please tell me…was her little baby on her lap the entire time she was on The View? oh wait…you mean she was not WITH the baby, but telling another mother she should be with hers? I highly doubt Kendra meant it as an insult. As a first time mom myself, I get what she is saying, it's hard to leave your baby for so long. Wow. I think everybody's being far too harsh on Kendra. She did not mention Kate's name, and other people on DWTS have kids, too. That's just how she personally feels.

I don't think leaving a baby with her mother (who has had children of her own and knows what she's doing) for a little while is so bad.
