Matt Is Bored With Bourne Flicks, Officially Says "No" More!
Matt Damon was recently interviewed while on the PR trail for his newest flick, The Green Zone, and one of the questions asked of the actor was his future involvement with the Bourne franchise.
While the suspense, action-thrillers all but gave him a career in the genre, Matt says he is done with the series for good and plans to never return. He did have some ideas, however, on how to keep the Bourne dream alive without him. He says:
"I think there's a good way to do a prequel with someone else, but not me. What any studio is interested in is making a franchise like Bourne an evergreen that can just go on and on. With me playing him, Bourne got his memory back three times. So I don't think anybody wants to see me say 'I don't remember' again. But you could do a prequel with another actor being the first Bourne before his identity gets passed on to me. In fact, why not two or three? As for me coming back to do him again, I'm just saying no."
We agree, no more Bourne movies.
But Oceans 14 has a nice ring to it!

Never mind boring Bourne - how many Sherlocks can we get away with, I'm thinking dozens with the gorgous Robert Downey Jr, hmmmmmm. Hundreds even, no such thing as too many in this case.

Man!!!! I Love all the Bourne movies. Matt is a great action actor. He should at least pass the torch to another actor to start the series anew. I mean Bourne is like our American James Bond.
Not a smart move on his behalf they are the only successful movies he has made besides the ocean 12 movies. Even The green zone under performed this weekend. He should not say no to a good thing. It's not like the other three Bourne movies were bad. So far they have all been really good movies.

seriously you dont want a 4th bourne but you want another Oceans movie the last one sucked why would we want another vanity project for Clooney and Pitt. I liked the plot of the Bourne movies….. but I never got into Matt as "Bourne". I wish they could have hired a much, much better actor to play the part. Matt Damon as Bourne = boring, bad acting.
