No More Hip-Hop For Fiddy
Now, he's all about the dance music!
50 Cent is over the gangster, hip-hop genre and has decided to take his music into a new direction. Sources say that Fiddy is already in the studio, laying down tracks for a dance album inspired by club music the rapper enjoyed with touring Europe. Fiddy explains:
"I went to a nightclub after party. It was different music after a while. The music they were playing before they were playing the music I created was more up-tempo, more dance. I wanted to make a song like that, so I went into the studio. Because I'm travelling with my live band, I took the band with me and we sequenced it and recorded the actual record while we was out there…I won't allow myself to be placed in a box where I can only do one style, or do one kind of music. They should expect the unexpected on this one. If they can understand how I enjoy different genres of music and different styles, for the people who have various tastes in music, they'll really like it."
This is definitely a career move we did not see coming!

OMGosh, I felt the same way when I went to Europe. The music is so fun, from La Roux to . . . everything around the club scene in London, Netherlands, etc. I say do it. Music in the U.S. is too controlled - - we never get to hear the great stuff going on all around the world unless you go there.

To answer your question…NO, 50 Cent could never pull off "dance" music. He can't even "pull off" his own music to say the least. I wish he would just realize that nobody cares about him…
