Oopsie!

Super Bowl, you now have the silver medal for funniest 'technical malfunction' story EVER!!

Time Warner Cable messed up big time in North Carolina when equipment failure caused Playboy's programming to appear on TWO children's OnDemand channels!

According to WRAL.com, while the menu listed information for children's shows on one side of the screen, previews of nude women having SEKSI talk appeared next to it!!

LOLz! We suppose it's never to early to teach your kiddies about sex? The whole mess took two hours to fix.

Spokesman Keith Poston issued the following statement:

“We’re very, very sorry it happened. We know parents are concerned. I have a 9-year-old. I’m a dad. I’d be concerned too. It was a technical malfunction that caused the wrong previews to be shown on our kids on-demand channels."

For some reason, we don't think parents will be graciously accepting that apology!!

They're going to be stuck at home attempting to explain to their kids what the 'funny looking lady' was doing on the TV!

    SAD.

  2. 2

Only a low-life with no sense of sexual morality such as yourself would find that humorous.

  3. Niobe says – reply to this

"LOLz! We suppose it's never to early to teach your kiddies about sex? The whole mess took two hours to fix."………………….really? I should expect nothing more from you, there would be hell to pay if my son saw something like this before his time. I monitor EVERYTHING he watches, yes EVERYTHING, children now a days are not being children for the time that they should be, I agree with @imabandit, you have no morals so hence you shouldn't voice your opinion when it comes to children.

    Why am I not surprised

If parents are in the room with their kids, as they should be, they would have realized the error right away and been able to turn it off. It would not have been any big deal. For example, "Hey sweetie, lets go watch one of your children's shows. I am turning it on now. Oops that's not your show…cover your eyes!" Channel changes…end of story. Any kids who saw more than that have not only Time Warner to blame, but their parents.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH TOOOOOOO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. 12

I actually do think it is funny because technical difficulties do happen. Though, I can understand why some of you think it is not funny because children should not see something like this at such young age. I am a mother of three children and I would be mortified if my children saw that. As a responsible parent, I monitor everything my children do online or watches on TV.

    Re: Lilygirl27 – I agree with this person's comment.

Re: ~Rose~ – yeah me too, also when my kids go in their bedrooms where there is a tv they only have access to the DVDs I choose!! Any other TV time is monitored by me or my husband (their father)!

  16. 16

ya bunch of friggin prudes. just tell your kids the truth.

  17. 17

    this is sad.

I love how all of the idiotic parents are all up in arms over something this minor. More proof that I need to get out of this god awful country.

If violence accidentally popped up it would be completely overlooked. But sex and everyone goes into a frenzy ROFL. Yes, Let's over look something that can take your childs life but got ape shit over the "thing" that brought their child into this world. Idiots.

Re: imabandit – i think many people would find it funny.
why are american people so uptight about this sort of stuff? IT WAS AN ACCIDENT, THEY HAPPEN!

  20. 20

Another reason to leave this god-awful country??? Just leave! Don't wait for anymore reasons if its so bad, please! We don't need anyone living off our country and taking up jobs who doesn't want to be here.

I'm sure hardcore violence WOULD be a big deal, just as hardcore porn is as well. I would be prett pissed if my child viewed either– guns or sex. SPOOGE> There might be a difference between telling a 3 yr old a little bit about the birds and the bees, and explaining the actions of the hard core pornography they have just viewed. Prude has nothing to do with it.

Parents are to blame if they left their kids alone, but TimeWarner is also. Even if the parents were in the next room and came right over to see what was on the screen, the damage would have been done. There is no excuse for TWO FULL HOURS of that crap.

I agree, the rediculousness of this situation is a bit funny, but if my 2 yr old had seen even a few minutes of it I would be FUMING.

  21. 21

LOL! This happend a couple years ago with Time Warner…I worked at Directv at the time and got calls all day about people wanting to switch service because of it. Hilarious!
