24 Not Quite Over Yet!

24 showrunner Howard Gordon isn't ruling out a ninth season of the popular Fox drama!
"Discussions are still being held; the book hasn't been closed," says Gordon. "If there is a 24 past Season 8 I will be part of that." Although probably not as showrunner he admits.
As for Jack Bauer, aka Kiefer Sutherland, he doesn't have any deals for later seasons yet, but Gordon says that the actor "is inclined to do another season if there is a good story."
The final 2 episodes of Season 8 are currently in production, but it sounds like they won't be the last two ever!

24 much like the rest of Sutherland's body of work, is a joke. They should have put it out of it's misery seasons ago. Bleh. BE DONE WITH IT!
honestly..who wouldn't want a season 9? bring it on Jack!!
i would because i love jack bauer/kiefer.. that being said i think it is time to move on to the movies. there are only so many crises you can come up with

The only correct way to end this show if they do..its to have Jack killed in the processes of saving whoever they hell it is he is saving this time. Make SURE they end in a way to not leave anything left undone unsaid or a way to make a spinoff

Kill Jack Bauer? I don't think they'd do that [i]on the TV show[/i] because they are itching to do a featured movie or two. I think they'll hold off on the killing until the movie(s)s.

A 'Kiefer's Cleaners' chain would so cover the bread and butter items, and even the name is pleasingly alliterative.
