      I loved these books as a child. I have every one of them. Can't wait to see the movie. Hope it is true to the book. They were my favs.

      I'm so sad! Beezus is supposed to be 10 years old, not a teenager! This is going to mess up the book for so many children.

      I remember these books as a child. Somehow i doubt they will be like the book other than the character names however I think it would be good to take my daughters to.

      Re: Sgirl – I agree - I resigned all of the Ramona books from the library at least 2, 3 times back when I was younger. They're really outstanding books…glad to see them live on in some form today.

      Re: adree313 – No, Ramona is really young in "Ramona and Beezus." She isn't ten until around the "Ramona and Her Father" book or something like that. I think this movie is a combination of those two books or maybe all of the books, who knows.

      Selena is actually not as bad an actress as i thought her to be.. i just saw her movie another cinderella story (yeah ok i know.. but i was forced.. sortof.. lols) anyhoo, and although the movie of course was totally cliche and corny, selena made her part work, which was surprising..
      so i think this Ramona movie is gonna be her ticket out of disney roles and into actual acting gigs.. cuz the cast is cool and the movie looks cute enough…
