In an interview with Fox News that was recorded on Wednesday, President Obama was interviewed by the very disrespectful Bret Baier.
They discussed the future of health care reform and the upcoming Congressional vote, yet something kept coming up unexpectedly - Baier's big mouth!
The interviewer consistently interrupted the President and later apologized for the interjections stating that he wanted to "get more bang for buck."

I just want to ask why everyone thinks that shit can get done over night. Obama is not GOD or he doesn't have a magic wand. We have to remember what a shit situation we were in up until a few months ago. Things are getting better but it won't happen overnight. I can't help but think that there are deeper underlying issues why people get on OBAMA so much…..hmmmmmmmmmmm let's take a guess. Cut the man some slack and regardless of how you feel he is still the President and deserves a bit of respect for holding that position. Look, I'm not a big fan of FOX News but it struck me as interesting that the Prez couldn't give any straight answers. It appeared that the Prez was saying to himself "If I could just talk long enough about anything, then Bret's time will be up." Why can't he answer any straight questions? Most of them could have been answered with a simple "yes" or "no".
Example: Do you know what's all in the bill? No.
Do you agree with the Slaughter Rule? Yes.
Would you get angry if you went to Subway and asked how much a footlong sandwich was and they said: "Well, it depends on several factors. First, are you getting double meat? Would you be adding extra cheese? If you get one of our specialty subs you will get an up charge for that too. Of course it's a good idea to add a drink because then you'll be thirsty after eating our sub. So it depends if you want a drink and chips or if you just want a sub with either double meat or cheese…etc." *WTF, the answer is "$5 excluding double meat & specialty subs". It's that easy, I'd interrupt the guy behind the counter too if he gave me this stupid ass answer!
Back to the point, If he (the Prez) could just answer the questions like he's a president and not a rambling candidate then maybe people would trust him. Come on Perez Hilton, if you can see through celebrity BS, why can't you see through this?

Brett HAD to interrupt him. He would ask a question and Obama would side step off into word diarrhea & never ANSWER the asked question. Brett had to continually interrupt & ask a question to get him back on topic with healthcare. Obama never would admit that he is going against an earlier statement of his while in the senate about "up or down votes" when asked about Nancy Pelosi's plan to push the healthcare agenda through with the no vote ploy of "self executing vote" It was Obama who was disrespectful in not answering the questions and trying to turn the interview into campaign speeches
To everyone saying that he was trying to get a "straight answer" to questions that the president was supposedly evading, you clearly did not read the interview. Someone mentioned that Baier was trying to find out if obama was supporting a non vote and get the bill passed anyway? where the heck did you get that idea? Baier himself said that the president does not like filibuster, and the president repeatedly said that he needs to know if they're voting up or down on this. Not once was moving ahead regardless of the vote mentioned.
What Baier mentioned which you misguidedly took as some sort of "non-vote" was the deem and pass in which the House would vote on a bill that fixes the health care bill which the senate has not voted on yet. It's ridiculous that Baier is even pressing on this point as a measure to portray the idea that Democrats are using unfair new tactics when Republicans have done this many times in the past.

I'm not saying that interrupting the President is the best thing to do, but the way this guy interrupted him was justified considering the circumstances. All the President was doing was side-stepping the questions that Bret was giving him, and I could completely understand getting frustrated that answers weren't being given. If you don't vote for this, you're against fixing healthcare - WHAT? That's ridiculous. And WHY wouldn't President Obama say which deals were going to make it into the thing? It seemed like he didn't know, or he didn't want to say because they were all still in. Sigh. This was the first real interview by a real journalist for Obama.
And like a true journalist, Bret Baier had a game plan that was any time Obama started to move off the question (which was immediately) and began to filibuster or return to his "talking points" he would get back to the real questions. Did he ever answer the question "If the plan is so great then why do you have to bribe everyone to vote for it?"
