New Deets On The Hobbit

Get ready to celebrate, nerds!
According to actor Ian McKellen, the first of the two Hobbit films will begin shooting in July.
A spokeswoman for New Line denies the start date, but McKellen claims the ball is rolling.
"Casting in Los Angeles, New York City and London has started," said the actor. "The first draft is crammed with old and new friends, again on a quest in Middle Earth. The director Guillermo del Toro is now living in Wellington, close to the Jacksons' and the studio in Miramar."
It's rumored that Peter Jackson is scrambling to finish the second script, but it better be done soon. McKellan claims that the films will take a year to make!!!

Yup, your right Mario. We're nerds because we happen to appreciate some of the greatest literary works of all time by Tolkien. I'm sorry that these books and films are to far past your feeble mind to grasp. I suppose 'Family Circle' cartoons in the paper are more your speed. Oh … wait, that would mean you'd actually have to read a paper, sorry I overestimated you there. Let's go with Dora cartoons, those I think you might be able to handle.
Of course I will see it. I absolutely loved the Lord of the Rings movies so I am so gonna see the Hobbit. Those movies bring me back to the simple years in life when I was in high school just getting wasted and high and going to the movies.
I hope that rumour about Jedward auditioning for Fili & Kili was true. If they're in it, I'd see it just for them.

Re: Unbelievable! – LOL I would hardly call LOTR some of the "greatest literary works of all time". The books are almost impossible to read due to Tolkien's need to over-describe every minor object. The story is good, but the writing is SO dull. The LOTR movies are definitely some of the best movies ever made, though. (And the movies have the awards to back that statement up!)
The Hobbit, of course I will go see it!!!
