That's too bad!

Rumors were swirling about Paula Abdul hosting the remake of Star Search, but the deal did not go through. A source reveals:

“A deadline was given and no agreement was reached. And she was offered a lot of money…It looks like we hit the end of the road with Paula."

She's probably holding out for that sweet X Factor gig with Simon!

      I don't understand why these blatently dumb "rumors" ever began. It was silently confirmed months ago that Simon flew her out and hired her for the American version of X Factor months ago….

      i actually think Paula's absence from Idol has people appreciating and wanting her more. hopefully she's using the time to get her shiz together and makes a smart choice on her next move as I'm sure she's got offers…
