Snooki Charged In Connection With The Death Of A Minor!!!

Some people never learn!
Before she was Snooki, Nicole Polizzi was charged in connection with the death of teen Michael Truncali in 2004. She was criminally charged with selling alcohol to minors at a party at her house (aka Prohibited Sale of Alcoholic Beverages).
Later that night, Michael died in a drunk driving accident with a blood alcohol level of .18 - twice the legal limit! He rolled his Mazda in the early hours after getting drunk at the house of Helen Polizzi, Snooki's mom.
And her mom was there the whole time!
Of Snooki's mom, Marlboro Police Chief Stephen Fajfer said "She cooperated. She came in willingly and spoke to us several times about the incident."
However, Michael's parents don”t think the entire truth about that night has been uncovered and have conflicting feelings toward Snooki.
"She doesn't care about what happened to our son," said the victim's mother, Michelle. "We're not out to trash Nicole. I never blamed her for what happened, she was a 16-year-old (sic). I blame others. I am not looking for those people to get arrested, I just want the truth."
Michelle has attempted to watch Jersey Shore, but said she couldn't take it anymore as it appears to "glorify" alcohol consumption.
"I just don't feel that parents should allow underage drinking in their homes,” said her husband Bill. "I don't feel like the whole story has come out; that remains our big issue. I want to see the truth come out."
Many claims that adults were drinking alongside minors that night, but there was not enough evidence to convict.
And at the spot where Truncali died, the twisted bumper of the car left a mark that is still there today.
Sad.

Trash
Michale — and Michael's parents - NEED TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR OWN behavior.
-
-I'm sick and tired of folks - who themselves are drunk - or get in a car driving by someone else who is drunk - blaming their lack of judgment on others.
-
not to disrespect but the only time you can blame someone during a drink and drive is when the drunk kills an inocent(passengers, other car involved..) .. that guy made the poor choice of drinking and driving.. bad parenting to me.. dont blame others for your sons mistake..
no wonder she's an alcoholic
what exactly is the mother's supervision worth here? she should be smacked good & hard. as for 19 or 20 yo'ds drinking with 16 yo'ds…. not a very vivid distincion between children & adults, as we know.
reaaaal classy snooki …. regardless how young you were at that time.
How about blaming her son for the underage drinking?
wow, Snooki and her mom obviously did not learn from this life lesson. Shameful.
she looks retarded with her lips puckered all the freaken time
GAWD WHATEVER don't drink and drive…. that's the moral of the story. What difference does it make if they find out the mom did let the kid drink???? For real though… teenagers will drink if they want to drink. Shit just happens. There's no one to blame but the kid who decided to drive home drunk. Let your kids know that you'll come pick them up if they ever need a ride. Educate them.. that's all you can do. Maybe Snooki doesn't care. I sure don't!
Nothing about this entire group of people from Jersey have anything to do with being
STYLISH. Why does the media even bother to waste their ink on these fools?
www.thethrifters.net
sad part is no one is really going to care and she will still be making a lot of money.
I think MTV would get in trouble for promoting underage drinking which is why everyone on the show is of age. However I do think they portra binge drinking in a glorifying light which isnt good. But if you don't want kids drinking I think its the parents to cover that not to mention Jersey Shore I only saw on at 11 at night maybe they show it earlier, but maybe kids should be asleep on a week night before a certain time otherthan that you can control the internet to an extent you just have to put controls on it. Oh well parents will never learn I only behaved growing up because my brothers were so horrible I didn't want to be like them and I could have my mom gave up by the time I was old enough she was way mellowed.
OMG, twice the legal limit!??? You mean he had 4 beers!!?? the drinking limit is a joke used primarily for cops to hit their quotas. Granted, there are light weights, midgets, and anorexic bitches that weigh into this factor, but still, people use alcohol in accidents as an escape goat.
Plus, this is in no way defending Snooki.. I think she is white trash, along with the rest of that crew. Talk about sending a bad image to the oblivious pubescent teens who think they're cool. Gotta love America. (pukes)
this is such BS! NOBODY FORCED her son to get that drunk and drive…some parents just refuse to take responsibility for THEIR own kid's actions so they're gonna blame others in hopes of distracting from their own lack of parenting skills.
To be honest- sounds like nobody has the REAL story of what happened. All anyone knows is a. he was drunk b. he got alcohol at her house c. her mother provided the alcohol .
What else could there be to the story? I think his parents are trying to get attention, because honestly theres not much more there could be… he drank alcohol that her mother provided, decided to drive and got killed.
Personally - I want to know why her mother wasn't put in jail?
in all honesty thats what teenagers do,drink at friends houses, but i do feel horrible for this mother seeing this class act flaunting her drunken stupidity all over the place and her kid is in the ground, such trash
you're dead son knows the truth michelle and bill……why don't you try blaming him for being trashed then getting behind the wheel of a car…….
Snooki and her parents are WHITE TRASH and even worse, guilty of NEGLIGENT MANSLAUGHTER.
The kid who died was just that, a kid, who was so drunk he probably didn't even know his name at the time. Whoever provided the alcohol (Snooki and her parents) and whoever allowed him (Snooki and her parents) to get behind the wheel of a car is GUILTY. I hope they don't sleep well at night. But you know they do, because they have the collective intelligence of pigeon.
So, PEREZ, keep glorifying the bitch and ignore the 'reality' that she is trash, a horrible example to anyone, and responsible for the death of a kid.
the parents are in denial. their STUPID son decided to drink and then decided to drive resulting in death. Ya Nicole and her mother are wrong for the underage drinking at the home but nobody is to blame but the son. DURRR.
My condolences to Michaels parents. How tragic. I cant imagine their grief.
I also feel that not knowing the whole story must be gut wrenching. I hope people (Snookie and Helen) do the right thing to help ease these parents pain.
Re: redhead27 – I agree, why wasnt Helen made accountable for the guests that she had and what she gave her guests while in her home??
i love the moms quote "i don't blame snookie, i blame others." like who? your son for drinking underage and then driving drunk? yourself for not knowing what your 16 year old son was up to?
Ok, I know that someone lost their life and that is sad, but did they let it go until snooki became famous? I mean, why are they upset about it now? It seems to me that they are trying to profit from a terrible accident. That is teaching noone anything but that you can sue for anything.
Re: Lulu-2 – I FULLY agree
You cannot blame anyone else… your son CHOSE to drink… and then CHOSE to drive. I did NOT drink until I was of legal age, 21… maybe because I had really good parents… or maybe because I'm just really SMART and very responsible.
I remember parties in high school and for all we know Snooki might not of even known this kid or even knew he was going to drive drunk. My parties in high school had lots of people coming in and out and I couldnt keep up with everyone (why would I have to??)
Re: danger danger – exactly!
WTF? how the fuck is this snookies fault? maybe the parents of the boy who died should of taught his ass better about NOT drinking alcohol. They need to stop trying to get publicity and STFU
No cursing the dead but that kid chose to drink and he chose to get blitzed you cannot blame her! Although she is not my favorite I think that this is something that happens all the time!
The Truncali's need to file a civil suit, they will win, burden of proof is much lower in civil cases and will force the Polizzi's to acknowledge the tragedy via their bank accounts.
"i dont blame Snookie I blame others" if you dont blame snookie then WTF are you talking to the media? A 4 year old doesnt know right from wrong but a damn 16 year old does so the mother needs to STFU
Re: XenaWarriorPrincess – omg I agree! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that…if she had lips
Re: XenaWarriorPrincess – omg I agree lol glad to see someone else other than me thinks that…now if she had lips to begin with then maybe it wouldn't look so retarded
i wish tiger would choke this bitch!
O' WOW!! This is like The E Network giving Alexis a reality show called "Pretty Wild" and in the first episode YOU SEE THE COPS TAKING HER AWAY! Now we find out SNOOKI IS A CRIMINAL HERSELF AS WELL! And glorifies alcohol on her show after being charge in connection with someones death! That is TERRIBLE TO PUT THESE TWO ON TV FOR MILLIONS TO IDOLIZE AND FOLLOW! WE NEED BETTER ROLE MODELS AND TV STARS THEN THESE TWATS OTHER WISE AMERICA WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE BUT DOWN HILL!!!!
Re: Milk Dud – Talk about sending a bad image to the oblivious pubescent teens who think they're cool. Gotta love America. (pukes)
-THIS IS WHERE I AM AGREEING! WTF?! Her and that ALEXIS CHICK SHOULD BE FIRED!! Fucking LAW BREAKERS GETTING PUT ON TV AND MADE TO BE FAMOUS WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN IDOLIZE THE DISGUSTING LIFE STYLE AND CHOICE THEY MAKE!! IT'S SICK!!! SOMEONE NEEDS TO PUT THESE BITCHES BACK IN THE GUTTER, WHERE THEY BELONG!!
Re: Milk Dud –
It's scapegoat, retard.
Re: Swear to ME! – well said!
It's called 'hosting laws' people. yeah he chose to drive drunk…but the fact is, her idiot "i'm just trying to be a cool cougar" shit for brains of a mom SERVED.
"And at the spot where Truncali died, the twisted bumper of the car left a mark that is still there today."

What does that have to do with anything? Trying (and failing) to be poetic?
their son did something entirely stupid. drinking * driving =who do you blame? the individual. No matter how he got the alcohol…he CHOSE to drink it and and drive.
There is nothing worse than a parent who drinks with or allows a minor to drink in his/her home. You're a f$cking parent, not a friend.
altho i wouldn't begrudge these parents the pain of losing their kid. i do have to say: WTF!!?? Please? something else going on? your kid got wasted… like i did when i was 16 with my 16 year old friends but the difference is our parents werent naive and didn't provide us with a vehicle to get killed in on the way home. there's enuf info out there in your face telling you drunk driving is wrong. i don't care if you're 16, if you die drunk driving, you kinda deserve it.
Re: bee85 –
If an adult allows a 16 year old child to drink in his/her home, they are to blame. Period. This is not an adult we are talking about here. Kids don't have good judgement. That's why adults are there to protect them. If these parents thought their kid was safe because what's-her-face's parents were home, they have every reason to be upset.
The only blame I feel should be placed on the victem. He was the one who decided to drink and drive! It may not be right that there was underage drinking but Snooki's mom knew that it was going to happen whether she liked it or not, and decided to be somewhat responsible by letting it happen under her supervision. That is more than I can say about some parents, they think that if they are ignorant about the fact that their kids drink that it doesn't happen. WTF?
I have to agree with what the others have said, This boy was his mother's responsibility, meaning so was his whereabouts. If she wants to say she can't watch his every move, then how does she expect people who aren't his parents, and isn't their responsibility too. Selling him alcohol was wrong. Just as wrong as it was for him to drink it and get in his car drunk and his mother not knowing or allowing him to go to a party like that.
oh my fukin god this is just too sad.. what the fuck is wrong with parents nowadays letting children drink and then drive!! that's just crazy to me and her mom shouldhave been charged with manslaughter.
Fuck underage drinking/smoking whatever have you.
I'm underage, I've been close to victims of such crapola.
Teens of the 21st century, GROW UP.
WTF???!!!! Snooki's name should not even be brought up! These parents are lame, bitter, and they're the irresponsible ones. Why did you let your son go to the party anyway? They knew what type of party it was going to be. Why not teach your son to at least be responsible and not drink and drive? They are just ultimately mad at themselves because they know they didn't pay enough attention to him, and now he is GONE!
Blame others? What is wrong with accepting reality? her son got drunk, he decided to drive…. responsibility has to be on him. The only positive I can find in this story is that his negligence didn't kill someone else. Alcohol is the drug that falls under the radar in most cases… pity that we are affected by other peoples poor decision-making.
The whole thing is disgusting. This accident involving the death of a teen and the Jersey Shore television show glorifing the awful behavior of ignorant people acting stupid and foolish. I can not believe they have become famous. It really shows how low Americans have sunk in terms of tv viewing and setting the bar really low for young people.
It is no one's fault but his own. Sad as it is, he knew better and decided to test fate. If you are old enough to drive, you are old enough to know better than to drink and drive!
Re: dogmama – I'm really SMART with good parents and I didn't wait to drink til i was 21.. I was just responsible enough to call for a ride or stay wherever i got drunk.
RIP CHunk…mike you are still missed everytime i drive through that street, and only 30 seconds from your driveway…miss ya so much ..
comments about the parents need to stop being made you do NOT know the circumstances at all…although he was drunk he should never been given alcohol from an adult
Why does she do that thing with her lips? Not flattering.

i am michaels cousin, and for this person^ and everyone else talking bad about michael and his family, you know nothing about him. he was a very smart boy, and one of the nicest people you could imagine. unfortunately teenagers drink and they make mistakes and its just a shame that it had to end this way for michael. may he RIP, i love and miss him.
