this is my 11 year old cousins favorite show. I had to watch it with her when she came to visit me and I couldn't stand it, but that's just my personal preference because I just dislike most shows for kids.. the humor just annoys me. Miranda Cosgrove is a beautiful girl though and I can't see why she shouldn't be paid that much if Miley Cyrus is paid as much as she is. I just hope she doesn't go the way of a lot of other female actresses like someone else said. Good luck to her.. I can't hate on her because I'm not making anywhere near as much money as her and she seems like a sweet person!

yes yes the show is so funny to watch and very inventive..im in my late 20's and i watch alot of the disney shows..its one of the best ones now..miranda used to be very wooden in the begining of the show..she has improved..the other actors were always on point..when she did school of rock with jack black..her acting skills were amazing..i dont know why that is the case sometimes with a few child actors..as they get older the acting isnt the same..look at mcauly culkin to name a few..

our little baby got us watching icarly and like others said it isn't torture it is funny and not annoying I would rather rip my own head off than watch hanna montana but I love Icarly as does my husband guess we're kids at heart and all because our son likes the intro song lol

Celebrities are paid WAY too much though. Give some $ to the people in the world that need it. She should not get paid more than $500,000 a season, that's ridiculous!

I love watching iCarly (mother of three young girls)… much better than "mother say whaaa?" "oh sweet niblits" or whatever else Miley Cyrus is attempting to say. Miley pulled a Britney and quite frankly I'm done with her… remember when she was saying that she wanted to be a role model for little girls and now what is she saying??? Parents shouldn't make me a role model…. If it wasn't for our daughters and their parents buying all of her Hannah Montana garbage, Miley Cyrus wouldn't have a pot to piss in (excuse my french). Nothing wrong with Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez or Miranda Cosgrove (yet - and I hope never)…. Disney - bring back your morale clause!

Perez says "We didn't know the show was that popular" yet I remember just recently he ran an item about how the season premiere pulled in huge ratings. I believe he even said something about Disney needing to watch out or they'd be taken over by this popular Nickelodeon show.
Perez, (or his sister) if you really want people to take you seriously and trust your information, try not to contradict quite so much.

this show is the only show i dont mind sitting down and watching with my step son. It is a fresh breath from Sponge Bob. Actually I sometimes even catch myself watching as I am flipping channels and he isnt here. I also dont think she is funny but the show is entertaining enough and completely harmless. I also just thought her role was more of the sweet girl next door, i didnt think she was intended to be a comedian. what I do find funny is that people actaully take the time of day to talk shit about kids. ICARLY doesnt have girls dressed like they are 21 and going to the club or talking about things that are beyond the age group it is intended for. Um, you are all adults, if you dont like it, turn the channel off Nickelodean. LOL
