Comedienne Goes After Steve Irwin's Daughter

Relax, lady! She's just a little girl.

An Australian comedienne named Fiona O'Loughlin has come under fire for throwing insults at the late Steve Irwin's 11-year-old daughter, Bindi!

O'Loughlin, while making an appearance on an Australian TV music quiz show, impersonated Bindi, called her 'a bit creepy' and pretended to slap her in the face!!

Check out a clip of the incident above. It's definitely NOT as bad on video as it sounds on text, but we think it's still a bit mean.

And TV viewers were NOT happy, calling her 'tasteless,' 'un-Australian,' and 'a bully.'

O'Loughlin, however, does not think she was out of line:

'It was part of some banter on a comedy panel show. I'm a comedian and comedians make fun of people we know. I've said worse about myself.'

What do U think of her comments about Bindi?

Re: Debtee – Yeehah. Thank you. To all the other Aussies, please don't speak for me!

    2. 102

Re: Debtee – She is a recovering alcoholic so lets stoop down to that level and pick on her too. And if you had seen ANY of her material you would know that she uses her 5 kids for comedy ALL THE TIME. Get off your high horse, you're no better than her or anyone else. Americans obviously don't get our sense of humour but too bad for you, it's a free world and YOU CAN'T CHANGE IT!!!!!

Re: dangertwinkie – i give a shit about Fiona O'Loughlin being on Perez Hilton, its fkn cool. she'll be stoked!

you people need to get a grip.

Re: shittin_condoms – And you are who, may I ask?

Re: You&I – You got it in one. No offence Irwin family, Australia Zoo is Awesome but Bindi is so annoying. Especially when she is in every magazine, T.v Ad and Billboard in Queensland. And for all you Americans hating on Aussie Comedians, i have three words for you: Hamish And Andy. YouTube that shit !!

    6. 106

really though she is a creepy looking little freak, hopefully her next trip up will reveal a sting ray….that ends her life

    7. 107

      Spicks and Specks is awesome!

Spicks in Australia doesn't mean the same as america, and I can't make that clear enough. Most Australian wouldn't even know about the racial connotation. It's a reference to Bee Gee's song. And it's true what she says I have seen her make worse comment about her self and her own children.

    9. 109

Re: Melley – huh? australia is on the other side of the world, if you've ever looked at a globe…, and the title of the show (spicks and specks) has nothing to do with mexicans.

    10. 110

Bucket8 is right….u ALWAYS make fun of Suri. But, this lady crossed the line with the fake slap. I don't think asking why she is alwasy so excited was wrong…but the fake slap was crossing a line. Bad bad bad! She IS in the public eye…but that doesn't make it right to pick on her. Kids will see this and think its still okay to make fun of their peers and resort to violence….cuz its funny! Shame on this lady!

    11. 111

Poor saps - actually thought they were funny.

    12. 112

Get real! I laughed my butt off. This was funny AND true. I'm sick of little kids being put on display and seen as being adults ie. Suri, Maddox, etc… and then turning on Nancy Grace and hearing people ask why are there so many pedos in the world. She's being rewarded by acting like her dumbass late father. When she gets hurt doing something stupid your all gonna say Fiona was right. BTW Joan Rivers has said worse and I think she's HIGH larious too!

    13. 113

Comedians are allowed to make fun of other ADULTS, not children. Children don't have the capacity to understand. Most adults would say, "Ok, so she's making fun of me. Whatever. That's what comedians do." But a little girl isn't going to be able to rationalize something like that. She lacks the maturity to write that off as "just comedic humor". To her, every comment would be an unprompted insult, and she'll sting from the comments.

Bah, Bindy's alright, but I agree with Fiona's comments. She's a comedienne, ffsakes. That comment was ripe to be said. Political correctness sucks, and takes away the flip side of things that deserve to and should be held up to the light.

    15. 115

      yeah its so mean

    16. 116

I'm an Aussie and I don't see what all the fuss is about! Yes she's a kid, but she's a kid in the public spotlight. Her Mother chose to put her out there so she could have fame and fortune and when you do that you have to take the negative to. If she had been a celebrity's kid who did not have their own TV show/movies/clothing line ect THEN it would been tasteless.

    17. 117

Re: PeaBeu – hhahaha oh dear, just because i know racial terms as well as yourself, doesn't mean i use it? please, you just contradicted yourself, idiot.

    18. 118

      i'm australian :)
see it says spicks on the tabel, because the talk show is called 'spicks and specks'.
ok, people are making a big deal out of this one lady when the same thing happens everyday .. its just not as publised as this. nobody understands asutralian humor really, but believe me she wasn't being serious AND alot worse things have happened with people - maybe concentrate on those rather than small comments made by comedians ?

    19. 119

Um, can I point out that no matter how much people love Steve Irwin here everyone I know makes fun of Bindi, I know a little mean but everyone in Australia makes fun of everyone and Bindi is creepy.

    20. 120

Only Americans would take from that PART of the tv shows name and cry racism. We, unlike other people dont use the term spicks in a derogatory way. and if you knew anything its music show, so the title is from a song. I am in no way a fan of either Fiona or Bindi, but I dont see anything wrong with what she said. Shes not actually going to go slap the child, so who cares if she made the motion. what Fiona said Bindi does, is true, so what the problem with her taking a comedic spin on it. Bindi is over the top with animation its no secret, so why is it all of sudden offensive to point it out. If Terri was really worried about her children, they would not have been pushed in to show business when their father died. they would have been allowed to mourn privately and have a normal childhood. So maybe instead of pointing the finger out a comediene whose words are worth nothing, look at the actions of the person who is supposed to be responsible for the childs upbringing.

    21. 121

Fiona O' Loughlin is a drunk bitch, seriously she got into trouble on DWTS for being drunk.

    22. 122

Shut the fuck up you bunch of dumb shits. Jesus Christ it's fine to go after people that are drunk, or drug fucked, or having affairs but as soon as someone takes it to a kid you all jump on your high horses and get pissy. This is the world she's in, the one one her bloody parents put her in, so she'll have to learn to deal with the good, and god forbid, the bad.

    23. 123

Re: JulesGules – haha its not australian slang it what the shows called "spicks and specks"

    24. 124

It probably wouldn't have been made into such a big deal if it was actually funny.

    25. 125

      Picking on Children. Disgusting.
