Lady GaGa is NOT pleased about the backlash she's receiving about her music video for Telephone from BIGOTS who claim the lesbian relationships are sadomasochistic and 'poison.'
However, GaGaloo has integrity and responds to the hate-mongers with a lot of class.
She says:
"There are transsexual women and transgender women and suddenly it becomes poisonous and something else because there are some people in this world that believe being gay is a choice. It's not a choice, we're born this way. That's why for me this video is groundbreaking because it has one foot in the art community and one foot in the commercial world.
I told Beyoncé this after it aired, you'll see this video is not just great now but six months from now what this video will mean. Hearing people say the video is sadomasochistic or that the video promotes murder for young people, it's my personal belief that the video is getting so much attention, not because of those themes because I've done those themes before, haven't I?
There are no rules or limits when it comes to love. But I see love as separate from sex."

Gaga handled the comments very well! She is making a statement and people are just too narrow-minded to look at the underlying message. Her first albums Madonna and Like A Virgin were the only albums that she wrote the least but she wrote Burning Up, Lucky Star, Physical Attraction, Crazy For You…After Like a Virgin Madonna has written every song she has ever recorded, just check the credits on her albums. She also knows how to play the drums, keyboards, guitar and bass. She has NEVER claimed to be a musician because she feels that she just can't do that as it takes away from the real trained musicians. Call Madonna what you want, but you can't say she isn't original. Many of her ideas came from generations way before but what Madonna has always been know for is updating it and making it all her own in a way only Madonna could. It's called reinvention and know one does it better than Madonna.

Gaga obviously has “killed before.” It was Beyonce’s turn to take her freedom back. Throughout the video gaga is emotionless. And its because of the sexuality and violence. She wants to show that her emotions exist in love.. sex and violence for her do not affect her emotionally. There is no love in that video besides the somewhat bond she created with Beyonce, especially after the “killing spree-” which is another thing gaga is trying to show. I think you all need to look at this video differently. This is what art is. Maybe you should take the time to understand it.
