GaGa Sued By Douchey Ex For $30 Million!
Rob Fusari is a songwriter, music producer and - according to him - Lady GaGa's former lover. But the douchey ex went to a Manhattan court on Wednesday to get the ball rolling on a lawsuit against GaGa for $30.5 million dollars!
The suit claims that Rob helped create GaGa's image and was even instrumental in writing some of her songs.
The details of the lawsuit suggest that when Rob met GaGa back in 2006, she was still just going by Stefani Germanotta and he recommended she change it to Lady GaGa, after the Queen song, Radio Ga Ga.
After they joined up professionally, Rob and GaGa formed a joint venture call Team Love Child LLC and he claims to have introduced her to the record executive that would later put out her album, The Fame.
Obviously, something between then and now went wrong for the couple and they parted ways, but with that came Rob's claims that he was denied a percentage of song royalties and mechandising revenue that he was due.
Now, he wants to see all this $$$ come to him!

Gaga does not lip sync. I went to her concert in New Zealand last week. No lip syncing at all. Stop hating. Its honestly just sad and pathetic to hate on people you do not know. Telephone was a great video, but it seemed like the higher ups were trying to tell her to do way too many things in one video. It was no where near as awesome as the video she did with Alexander Skarsgaard. (sp?) I am not hating on the video at all, I just think it had too many things going on for one video! She is not a pop artist and they are trying to force her to become one. I hope she keeps creatinve control on her next album.

Get your facts straight. Her album has not gone Diamond. There is no such thing as a Diamond (or Platinum or Gold) award for worldwide sales. Her album has sold 10 million copies worldwide, but not 10 million in the US - which is what a Diamond award would be. You are just regurgitating what Perez wrote a few weeks ago - which was incorrect. There is no such thing as 'Diamond Worldwide'.

well seeing as he did discover her and name her and get her to change to a dance music…not to mention that he is a co writer on SO MANY of her songs (check BMI that doesnt even list all of them) and is responsible for BOTH of the times she signed with major labels…so I have to believe him…

As much as I disagree sometimes with Stellagranos, I have to back him/her up this time. There is no such thing as a worldwide diamond certification. Each country has their own way of certifying albums. She may have claimed she sold 10 million worldwide, and I believe her, but she wasn't awarded a diamond certification for that, at least not by the RIAA.
Looks like the chinks are starting to show in her armor. As much as I like (as opposed to loving) her, and wish her continued success, I do feel like she's becoming a bit overexposed at this point and think she needs to take a break.

I love Lady Gaga…I'm a huge fan, BUT if she owes Fusari money, then she should definitely pay. However, if their contract was void upon her signing with Interscope (Perez failed to post the ACTUAL story, he kinda just made it his own…typical), then she owes him nothing. End of story.

ummm actually lady gaga got her name from a producer or someone who saw her in the recording studio. when she sings in the studio she does all sorts of dancings and body movements and he told her she was just "so gaga". hence the name.
