NBC is revamping the Rockford Files because they literally have nothing left to lose.

Steve Carell is producing and alongside Beau will be Dermot Mulroney as the "roguish private detective Jim Rockford." Beau will play his father.

What? Was Jay Leno not available?

      What is your problem? I admit, Beau Bridges is not Lady Gaga. Beau Bridges is probably around 60 years old. He won't be confused with one of your beloved hipsters.

      But, he is a working stiff, a nice guy, a good actor and the brother of the incredibly wonderful Jeff Bridges.

      Beau is a good actor with comedic timing and can probably stir up a few good laughs as the eccentric Father.

      Rockford files was one of my favourite shows. Nobody can replace JAMES GARNER, but Beau is a good actor from a great acting family. I look forward to the remake.

      Hell yes I will be watching him. He is a fantastic actor and should have been nominated many times in the past for his work just like his brother was. The are also a very close knit family. If you don't know anything about an actor you automatically start talking shit about them. If you don't know anything about them just keep your fat trap shut and ask our opinion about them. As you can see a lot of people still love his acting. I want to see a lot more of him.

      Sorry but the bigger is question is what rock did they pull Dermot Mulroney out from under and I like DM but BB has been around forever with over 170 credits to his name, most recently Stargate Atlantis for all SyFy watchers - Beau Bridges doesn't get the respect and recognition he deserves and you aren't helping - show a little respect huh…
