Re: thecouvman – Bitch, please. Last year was a madhouse. This year will be worse. As for the bitchy comments about Perez picking "nobodies": the last "nobody" he focused on was Lady Gaga. He purposely picked acts like Marina and the Diamonds, who aren't widely known in the States, because he thinks they might very well have the potential to be huge (though it will be hard to find someone to top Gaga's level of megafame). Agreed that hearing Hole was the finale was a letdown after hearing rumors of everyone from Gaga to Beyonce to Gorillaz closing out the party, but it could certainly be worse (e.g. last year's Indigo Girls performance, given that I am not a lesbian). Anyway, since unlike you haters I DO have a ticket (along with at least 15 of my friends), I'll be having seven hours of crazy-azz fun tonight with great music and free drinks.

I'm really disappointed in this lineup Perez. You talked about how this was going to blow our minds for weeks, and we've known Hole were going to be at SXSW for the last month and a half. You didn't have to use any amazing powers to get Courtney to play, she's already here. Impress us next year, but you've fallen flat on your promise on this one.
saw courtney love at dirty dog for sxsw last night… she was a complete and utter disaster…but loved every minute of it…home girl had to be on something.. but then again when isn't she!

Lousy lineup…even the female DJ sucks — I saw her with a cute violinist who was entertaining–but she sucked and majorly ugly. Violinist needs a new DJ and so do you.
