IPad On TV Postponed
Apple has postponed their on-demand television plans for the upcoming iPad after networks and producers didn't cooperate with the company.
Apple is trying to convince producers to drop the price of TV shows to 99 cents, but naturally the producers and networks are worried about how the price drop would affect the deals they have with the cable and satellite companies.
Apple is saying that lower pricing could create a whole different market for producers, but so far they haven't taken the bait.
Are u purchasing an iPad and will having the option to buy television shows sway you one way or the other?

i am most likely buying my boyfriend an iPad for his birthday, and no, the TV thing doesnt matter. we choose not to have a cable connection and if we NEED to see something, its on hulu

The iPad looks like a waste of energy and money. Its useless to me. Like an iPhone or iPod couldn't do all of that?

THE WHOLE CONCEPT OF IPAD (AKA MINI TAMPAX) IS STOOPID TO BEGIN WITH. WHO THE HELL WANTS TO PAY FOR SHIT THAT'S FREE ON THE NET A LA RAPISHARE AND LIMEWIRE??? SHHHHH. IMMA JUST SAYIN.
If it had Flash, I'd buy one. No Flash, no iPad. No Flash limits browsing and watching videos. A small device is one thing, not a tablet. This is a very limited use toy. And an expensive one at that.

OMG If I could get simple Hulu or something as good as that in a device I can carry around in my bag so I can just watch whenever i've got some time to kill? Holy shit I would so buy that, even though the ipad falls so short in so many other ways.
