The first guy isn't so bad - second guy is a little over the top. I think the unconstitutional healthcare bill isn't bringing out the best in people.

  2. 2

what part of ""If I lived in DC. I'd shoot him myself. Dead fucking serious."

is not saying you would do harm to the president??? WTF??? and all this because the man wants to extend healthcare to all Americans. It's not like he started a war that cost a trillion dollars for no good reason. It's not like he joked around and crawled under his desk pretending to look for non-existent WMD while American sons and daughters were dying looking for the 'real' thing.

what fucking tards. This IS the republican party, folks.

  3. 3

We have freedom of speech as long as we stay within the line…

  4. 4

MILLIONS more said the same about whatshisfaceBUSH. Some people just don't know how to control their anger. President Obama is the best Prez we had in a while.

  5. 5

yeah that is wrong, but the health care bill stiiiiiiiiiiill SUCKS

  6. 6

Every Leader of every Country get threatened. Move on!

  7. 7

That is terrible……. I hope they face the consequences…ignoraance

  8. 8

what are we coming to when people want to kill a president who is working hard to make healthcare available to those of us that the insurance companies ignore? why are these people angry that i might get the chance to go to a doctor again someday? do they really want people like me to get sick and die THAT badly?

  9. 9

Sometimes I am so seriously embarrassed to say I live in this country it sickening. This health care bill is actually supposed to be DEFICIT NEUTRAL people from true accounting people that aren't just smoke and mirrors idiots. The very same people who said the BUSH tax cuts would give us the HUGE deficits we have now. What are these dumb idiots ranting about? Not only that, but did anyone notice that health care stocks went up??? What the heck is their problem? Oh wait yes now you will have to get health care, uh yeah? So hospitals will not be stuck with bills that do get passed on to the people that do have insurance. Um, well get real folks. Death threats?? What are we a bunch of terrorists now? Or just ignorant imbeciles?

  10. 10

its sad how much hatred some people have simply because he represents change and he is not the same color as previous presidents… we can respectfully disagree without threatening a person's life and if not, then that anger says more about the person who is lose cannon then it says about the person they are actually mad at.

  11. 11

Don't worry, I will not write "First" as I find this absolutely childish. Otherwise, threats against the President of the United States is a serious matter and not surprising at all considering the degree of violence tolerated in films, TV programs, music, books and magazines, and now on the Internet. I am extremely worried about Mr. Obama, a most decent man, and personally I find the conservatives have gone way too far lately. I despise nut cases such as Russ Limbo, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin and countless others. I still have not forgiven the murder of President Kennedy by people of the right (no it was not Oswald). The reputation and credibility of the USA is at stakes, if another President is shot, no countries will trust you anymore. God Bless President Obama.

  12. YUCK says – reply to this

this country is broken. I am racist not towards blacks but I would never want those people dead, do I think asians and jews are despicable: yes, but I would never want them dead. that is beyond nuts.

  13. 13

Re: jeanmarie – Constitution says that it is here to "promote the general welfare" of the people. How protecting them from insurance company abuses and extending healthcare to the poor is NOT promoting the general welfare is a mystery to me.
Why didn't an unnecessary war and financing that trillion dollar war with the chinese, a war that saw thousands of our sons and daughters slaughtered, a war that generated more terrorism than it ever culled, why didn't THAT bring out some of this kind of anger? Why is KILLING PEOPLE and paying a TRILLION BORROWED DOLLARS better than extending healthcare and insurance protection to americans?? saving lives and livelihoods RIGHT HERE IN AMERICA. 65% of ALL BANKTRUPTCIES are due to healthcare expenses. Chew on THAT.

  14. 14

Re: trinigirl123 – Oh god, "best president we've had in awhile" where are you getting your information from? Moron

  15. 15

Re: tigrrrlilly – tell me how it goes when you have to wait 2 months to SEE a damn doctor. You guys are so damn clueless.

  16. 16

Um Perez, this was going on when Bush was in office. Yet you made NO claims of "disgusting" or what have you.

    Why is that?

  17. 17

This is the new Republican Party. Glenn Beck and his ilk should be so proud of the enviorment they have created. These people have some nerve boo hoo'ing about an exploding defecit. Didn't see their side complaining when Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy was pushed through (by RECONCILLATION) and caused a million dollar defecit. Didn't see the law and order crowd complaining that the war was costing us over a trillion dollars. Only now is it an outrage. STFU as we've learned in the past, elections have consequences.

  18. 18

The two party system has created the equivalent of civil strife in this country. Neither party could give a shit about the good of America; they only want to "win." They all suck.

  19. 19

Re: tigrrrlilly what are we coming to when people want to kill a president who is working hard to make healthcare available to those of us that the insurance companies ignore?

Um tigr you do realize that under Obama's plan that there will still be people rejected right?

I keep hearing this so much from people that support it. As if it's going to suddenly be able to afford everyone and everything.

Even Obama himself said that there would be hard decisions to make about such things.

The only difference between insurance now, and then is, The gov will be running it.

And we know how well they did with medicare and medicaid.

Some people refuse to learn from mistakes of the past.

  20. 20

I hope someone shoots these two cocksuckers.

Re: TheMrsBradPitt – At what point will the Dems finally stop blaming Bush for all the problems in their lives? The war he supposedly started was passed with bipartisan support, so you can't blame him solely for that….and exactly which "war with the Chinese" are you referring to, dumba$s??

Re: sukisuzz – Do you not see the irony in spelling ignorance wrong? Idiot.

Re: tigrrrlilly – Why exactly are the insurance companies "ignoring" you? Try getting a new job that includes healthcare. They can't deny you if you are under a blanket policy. Every American has "access" to Heathcare, but you may just have to work a little bit to get it.

  22. 22

Re: Tate08 – what you don't understand is that i can't go to the doctor AT ALL right now. i would be overwhelmed and downright grateful for the opportunity to wait 2 months to see a doctor. please, bring it on.

  23. 23

    Re: Twoboys2
Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy was pushed through (by RECONCILLATION) and caused a million dollar defecit

Correction: The tax cuts created a TRILLION DOLLARS to the defecit not a million.

  24. 24

Re: rineybeany – really, when are you people going to realize this is not about race- people don't like him because he is socializing this country. Anyway he is not black- he's bi-racial and he was raised by the white part of his family! We have had the same number of Roman Catholic presidents 1, and no women or Hispanic/Latin ones- where are the people screaming about the racism/sexism there!

It is a disgrace to me that this man has so many supporters because of 2 reasons, firstly because he is "black" and secondly because he is young. People thinks it's cool to support him, lets see how cool they think it is when they/ or their loved ones are denied medical treatment because it's deemed too costly by the death panels they are going to put into place now! Jackasses!

  25. 25

  26. 26

You are so correct. It's time for a third party in this country however if we thought that was impossible before now it's only going to get worse thanks to John Roberts and the other 4 conservative judges on the SCOTUS.

  27. 27

The time will come when the democrats and republicans have a civil war. I don't know why we don't split into two countries and get it over with.

  28. 28

and so much for economics and freedom in America when the FUCKING govt. owns almost HALF of it…Student loans, banks, car industry and now insurance industry? You like big brother telling you what to do, think, say, hear, eat, smoke, drink….and now healthcare!!??? look how they fucked up Medicaid and Medicare…how they fucked up with Fannie and Freddie. they can't do anything rigth…and NOW you want them messing with your health. fucking morons. get educated. this isn't going to help anyone and cause our kids and grandkids to pay for this astronomical debt….the MOST debt accrued by ANY and ALL presidents combined!

  29. 29

If Kim Kardashian can speak her mind so can others… Why can't I say I want to shoot someone if I am angry even if I would never do it?

How about this… I am so angry with Obama I will club a baby seal… Oh, oh, Oh, even better… I will club one of Seal's babies… #@% Ridiculous!!!

[re=4867805]Re: PENNSYLVANIA GIRL The two party system has created the equivalent of civil strife in this country. Neither party could give a shit about the good of America; they only want to "win." They all suck.

Post of the year right there.

    At least you are consistent.

  31. 31

    Re: Assbleep
Taking the high road now are we?!?!?! They say the want to kill the president and that is wrong, so lets shoot them. Brilliant!

  32. 32

  33. 33

Re: Twoboys2 – You are spot on with that one. Wait for three more years when we are OWNED by the presidential candidate that the Chinese or the Indians paid for. Thanks Justice Roberts. What were you thinking setting us up for every freaking foreign interest to step right in there and OWN US. In the end, the American healthcare system isn't even going to matter because we'll be owned by some other country. You can see it coming.

  34. 34

I work in the healthcare industry and do not agree with the healthcare bill. If someone would actually sit down and read it, you would see that it is a pointless, useless waste of money and will hender rather than help the uninsured, it is still not a reason to threaten someones life. God says that you must love the fools too.

  35. 35

Try being informed instead of just opiniontated. You are all out of your mind if you can't understand what happened on Sunday. THe majority of our Bill of Rights was voted away right in front of our eyes. You think it's about affordable healthcare? It's about systematically taking our freedom and handing it over to the government. The 3rd, 4th, 9th and 10th amendment are all being violated here. Get real people. On Sunday Congress violated their cardinal responsibility as laid out in Article 6 that states that both houses are bound by oath or affirmation to support the Constitution. Instead they did the exact opposite.

  36. 36

Re: Twoboys2Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy was pushed through (by RECONCILLATION) and caused a million dollar defecit – That has to be the dumbest thing I've read in awhile in here.

The over-inflated tech stocks busting and the housing is what caused this.

This is what happens. A Democrat gets in, overtaxes (punishes) the wealthy for basically being wealthy (steal from the rich, keep a bunch, and send SOME to the poor)

When someone from the right gets in, they lower the Rich's taxes to a more FAIR amount. Then people dumb like you scream "FAVORITISM!" without knowing the feck you're talking about. Do us all a favor and buy a clue.

  37. 37

    Re: Twoboys2 – * high five *

  38. 38

Re: PENNSYLVANIA GIRL – No, no he wasn't. And you agreeing with him makes you an idiot too.

  39. 39

Re: zap223 – omfg, people are still going on about those bullshit death panels ?! Hasn't it been made perfectly clear that that was just a load of crap from the get go? Pull your head out of Rupert Murdoch's brown eye and get a clue.

  41. 41

BTW Clinton "Balanced the Budget" by cutting both military and intelligence spending in half. ANY IDIOT COULD HAVE DONE THAT. Wasn't too smart to do considering 95% of the planning of 9/11 happened during CLinton's watch. Had he not cut intelligence in half..

Anyhow, 9/11 happens. Suddenly this country is in trouble. Bush has to now DOUBLE defensive and intelligence spending because of the mistakes CLinton made. His "fixing" was a band-aid that was made to bust open.

If you want to blame someone, Blame clinton for cutting funding for the two things the gov should never cut funds for. Protecting its people.

  42. 42

    Re: tigrrrlilly – amen! i haven't seen a doctor in 8 years because i don't have healthcare. i wouldn't mind a wait at all.

  43. 43

It was bound to come out eventually, there are some real wackos in this country who have been biting their tongues for months. From spitting on Congressmen, to shouting the "N" word, death threats… what did you expect from the way the GOP has been actively courting the crazy vote for decades. Bound to come out.

  44. 44

Re: lipstick_traces – You're kidding me right- are you to blind to see that they are already starting to put things similar to death panels in place to reduce costs- like The US Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) issuing a new breast cancer screening guidelines- that the American Cancer Society has spoken out against.
The government is already taking steps to put these unsafe, unfair polices in place- you must live inside Obama's asshole not to know that!

  45. 45

    what about FREEDOM OF SPEACH!!

  46. 46

Re: uw101 – so funny how quick you want to forget the disaster that was the last bush presidency and republican hold on all three legs of government. I didn't say war with the chinese, tard, i sad war financed through the chinese that my grandkids will have to pay back. Bush and the right wing jackasses ARE to blame for the problems in this country right now… and the dems hold some of that blame for being a bunch of spineless pushover wussies. BTW, I witheld my vote from every single elected official that supported the war, regardless of the letter after their name.

  47. 47

Re: KevinK – you are high. And uninformed. The economy was already recovering from the tech stock bubble (which is a bleep of a fart compared to the clogged toilet mess that Bush left) when your boy bush came in and decided to blow the budget and give unnecessary tax breaks to the wealthy and corporations. Real wages were stagnant during the 2000's. The middle class got poorer and the only thing making things look good on paper was that people were spending the equity in their homes on crap they didn't need. Bush also saw the two largest increases in the size of the federal government - the absolute waste of money called "Homeland Security" and Medicare part D. Pay attention to something other than right wing talking points and crybaby bullshitter glen beck.

  48. kjen says – reply to this

Geez, you and othersweren't up in arms when everyone was saying pretty much the same type things about George Bush. If people were allowed to say what they said about him, then they should be allowed to do so now. Tit for tat.

  49. 49

Perez, you really need to hire someone to edit your posts. So many typos! So unprofessional!

  50. 50

Re: KevinK – i cannot get insurance because of pre-existing conditions. no insurance company will touch me.

These guys are fucked in the head! Basic Healthcare is a human RIGHT, not just for the privileged few that can afford it. It's truly that simple. As a Canadian that was born into a country with universal healthcare it disgusts me that people think you should only have health if you have the ca$h - FUCKING WRONG 100% Our system isn't perfect but it's nice to know if you ever fall through the cracks you are always covered. Wake up, ALL AMERICANS! This is a momentous day for your nation. The status quo of the super rich insurance companies and their SICK SICK Fucking policies of denying people with 'pre-exisiting conditions' based upon their own invented criteria is the most bizarre fucking thing I've ever heard of. Left unchecked, what is happening in the USA right now with these big HMO's is the same path that Lehman Brothers and the rest of the bank THIEVES were on a few years ago. Huge CONGRATULATIONS from Canada, Mr. President, we are so proud for you standing up to the evil warped greedy corporations masquerading as 'healthcare providers'.

  54. 54

All I can say is I'm very thankful to live in Canada and not the US. Everyone here has healthcare and can use the hospital. If I break a bone I go and get it set and don't have to worry about paying for it. I think Obama is on the right track. It really pissed me off when Palin said she came to Canada to use our healthcare but God forbid Americans get the same privilege. Makes no sense.

  55. 55

  56. 56

Wow lol am I the only one who finds this funny.

  57. 57

WE LEARN THIS IS GRADE SCHOOL FOR f$%#@ SAKE!!!!!!….NEVER NEVER THREATEN A SITTING PRESIDENT!!!….really what dumb redneck thinks that because he is hiding behind a computer screen he has total anonymity…this just goes to show how dumb Americans really have become and Fox News is taking full advantage of these mindless sheep…sorry for insulting real life sheep

  58. 58

Re: KevinK – actually, mr. underinformed, Clinton INCREASED military spending over that of his predecessor, GHWB. What's it like to be wrong about EVERYTHING?

  59. 59

Technically, the first guy didn't threaten anyone's life. The second guy, on the other hand, blatantly stated he'd shoot him himself if he lived in D.C.

  60. 60

Maybe because Obama is a terrible fucking president and should have never been elected in the first place? Seriously his approval rating is at an all-time low. Who wouldn't want to put a bullet in him?

  61. 61

Re: AmericaFuckYeah – No honey, not at all lol.

  62. 62

Perhaps they should drink more coffee and less tea! Seriously, there should be no tolerance for verbal abuse or veiled threats.

  63. 63

Re: KevinK – Hey KevinK, what's wrong with Medicare? Everyone over 65 gets it and they all love it. My parents are alive today (nearly 80) because Medicare provides them excellent coverage. They both worked hard all their lives, paid into the system, always paid for good private insurance, but when they turned 65 Medicare kicked in, and they deserve it after all their decades of paying taxes and they love it. Medicare works well.

  64. 64

Re: uw101 – I love how you morons make it sound like just waltzing out and getting a job that provides insurance is soooo easy - especially in the current situation

  65. 65

You can say whatever the hell you want, but know there are eyes and ears EVERYWHERE. And if it serious, like what these dumbasses said, it WILL be investigated. Maybe nothing will come out of it, but it WILL be investigated.

  66. 66

Re: tigrrrlilly – I too was rejected due to prexisting conditions. I didn't have insurance for 10 years. I thank my lucky stars every day that I now have a job that provides full insurance coverage - medical, dental, and optical… But I am extra happy for this reform that will now stop these crooks from pulling this crap anymore on anyone else! Take that you thieving insurance scumbags! LOL, they must be suicidal right about now…

  67. 67

    Re: FMB – A-freaking-MEN.

  68. 68

  69. 69

Every president gets death threats. The big deal made about ones to him are only because he's black and if he gets shot, people will freak out and we'll have the 1960s all over agin.

  70. 70

Re: TheMrsBradPitt – When were we at war with the Chinese that our "sons and daughters" died in? Please tell me I read that wrong; if not I am scared for the future of America and our common sense and comprehension skills…

  71. 71

Re: TheMrsBradPitt – Clinton also did nothing when the towers were attacked in '93, therefore allowing them to be attacked again in 2001. He could even be partially blamed for the terrorist mess and war. Who's uninformed now?

  72. 72

Re: Vintage7787 – Agreed. Every president gets threatened, I guess Obama's just that special.
    We'll prevail in the fall!

  73. 73

Re: FMB – There is no Human RIGHT to have healthcare! You idiot. You confuse RIGHTS with privileges. You EARN privileges by working. Not by holding out your hand!

  74. 74

    Re: Marrakesh

your wrong, even president Franklin D. Roosevelt was for Universal Health care. He wanted to add The Second Bill of Rights during his State of the Union Address on January 11, 1944 which said every America is entitled to have Health Care. The only reason why We didn't already have Health Care today is because FDR passed away before it could be passed into law. BUT IRONICALLY, He during the reform of other countries after the WW2, they add this Bill of Rights by FDR into their laws and that is why Europe, China, Germany all have universal health care. AN AMERICAN IDEA

  75. 75

Tate08: I said 'in a while' IDIOT. Not ever MORON! Fuck off

  76. 76

Ugh, some people make me sick. Some Americans are just selfish, only thinking about how the health care bill will affect themselves, instead of thinking how it could better the country, and help out millions! Yeah, some people who don't deserve it will get health care, but many more who really need it and deserve it will too!

  77. 77

    Re: AmericaFuckYeah – I think its funny…

  78. 78

    Re: BabySoulSister – fuck you

  79. 79

Perez you are a hypocrite. You thought it was sooooo great when some dude threw a shoe at president bush, which could be considered assualt. If you want people to repect your opinion and to be taken seriously, dont talk out of both sides of your mouth. You judge people every day but yet expect people not to judge you and god forbid someone gay is negatively judged its like the end of the world. I like you, dont make me lose any more respect for you than I already have. faithful follower#1

  80. 80

    Oh wow. :-/

  81. 81

    Re: Marrakesh

That's the problem. It IS a right. I have a major problem with conservatives claiming health care is not a right, and saying it's a privilege. If you are pro-life and insist that every baby has a "right" to be born, then the same goes for its having a "right" to be provided healthcare. Any argument against this is an illogical contradiction.

Do you realize we are the ONLY developed county who has not considered healthcare a right?

  82. 82

Re: Marrakesh – You just PROVED that you are among the lowest scum of the Earth. The fact that you don't realize health in a developed country is a basic RIGHT. How stupid and selfish are you? What's worse, the cost of ensuring everybody is taken care of or the cost of unethical greedy HMO's having death panels and pre-existing condition termination clauses and deciding who's WORTHY of healthcare? You SICK fuck.

  84. 84

Re: FMB – Healthcare is actually not written anywhere in the Bill of Rights or anything else. The rights are life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

  85. FMB says – reply to this

Re: jerseygirl415 – So how do you define LIFE? Take the three… LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT of HAPPINESS and tell me how health is not inextricably linked to attaining ALL three. Without your health all those dreams crash. Anyways, I am free to say what I believe and I firmly believe as a human being that basic healthcare is a right. Whether it was written officially 200 years ago or today is irrelevant. It's not going to be an easy path or cheap or a perfect solution, but it's a step in the right direction.

  88. 88

i already love you for being so awesome, but this blog definitely makes me respect you more. i totally agree..

and worst thing of all.. i got to an elite school with rich snobs that are all literally ANTI-Obama.

they all talk about how they wish he wasn't president and it just bothers me. move out of the country if they want to make it a big deal.

  89. 89

Re: FMB – Health, yes… but not healthCARE. Nowhere does it say that we have to hand healthcare to the ones who can't afford it at taxpayers' expense.
