Hmmm It's clever, it's witty but it's not funny. Yes she's a gay actor, but to make fun of gay people allows others who are str8 to make fun of us, hence making it ok to deny us our civil liberities. Trade out every time she says "gay" with a different minority and it stops being funny.

Re: mattressjock – I know what you mean, but I kind of think that by creating a character that is just so AWFUL in so many ways, we are being encouraged to laugh at HER, but not the group she is mocking….she's teasing a few specific actors, but really her bigotry is just ludicrous, I think THAT'S the point, in many ways it just exposes the ridiculousness of homophobia, 'scary sneaky gays' is such a ridiculous idea Any thoughts?x

OMG this is the funniest thing ever, what makes it even funnier for me is my brother who is 21 just came out to me last week and I was like brother I have known for many years, I love you no matter what. Sheer awesomeness! I love Jane Lynch and I LOVE Glee! (And FYI- I just watched that was 2 gay men next to me and they were laughing hysterically. So, if you are so uptight about being gay, maybe YOU have issues with YOUR sexuality. And I bet you are just a shit ton of fun at parties. Dammit, there goes that sarcasm again…..)
