I think that is great! What an opportunity! I hope I can get tickets when she comes to Chicago! My little girl always tells me she wishes upon a star every night that she could meet Selena. I wish I could show her that anything is possible! For now going to see her is all I can do. I think Selena is a great role model and just because she is associated with Disney doesn't mean she won't be able to keep up with the girls. She is an artist just like the rest of them. RESPECT! Don't hate!
Selena really doesn't have a good voice. She just can't compare to Demi or even Miley.
Has anyone even heard Selena? She IS a good singer. I commend her for wanting to work at her craft. Just because she's not a ho (i.e. Miley) doesn't mean she can't entertain. Incidentally, you should view her show (Wizards of Waverly Place) as well as the WOWP movies. For a kid, she can act pretty good. Don't hate until you've seen it for yourself!
I love selena i think shes a good actress, but why is she singing? lets be honest.. while her songs are catchy she's not a singer.
Ms. Demi is a good role model and all, but kind of doesn't fit into my image of Lilith Fair. I look to it for more of an alternative/indie/girl power vibe.

Selena Gomez has the shittiest singing voice I have ever heard. She wrote ONE song on her entire album and overproduced vocals take up each song. She just can't sing for her life. She just wants to be like Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.

Oh please, this girl cannot sing. Even Miley sings better and that's saying a lot. Selena's music "career" will never go further than Disney. Did her album even go number one on billboards? I don't even think so. I'm a freshman in high school but none of my friends listen to Selena, nor do any of my friends still in middle school. Now lets see how many adults listen to her.
