Nike Loves Adulterers?

tiger__opt11__opt1.jpg

Although several companies decided to drop Tiger Woods after discovering what a real douche he is, Nike has stood behind the cheater.

And to thank them, Woods is filming a new commercial for Nike.

According to sources, Woods shot the commercial on the Isleworth Country Club golf course earlier this morning in his Windermere neighborhood.

Seems he's still trying to avoid the press by not leaving his hom much.

But really, Woods no longer represents that good guy, wholesome image he once did. Is this really the type of person Nike wants to associate themselves with?

Do U think Nike should drop him?

If Nike had to drop him, they would have to drop EVERYBODY. Nike knows more than anybody else that athletes like to cheat. They would have nobody to represent if they started dropping their "stars."

  2. 2

Nike should not drop him. After all their sports image has to do with performance. No one is a better golfer.

  3. 3

As much as it sucks, Nike will not ever drop Tiger. Tiger is the face for Nike Golf, and without him, they'd probably have to shut down their golf production. Nike only got big in the business when Tiger came around, so without him, their golf line is nothing.

who cares what we think??? who cares what u think?? if nike was going to drop him they already would have… he represents a sports brand, not his personal life…just cuz he's a cheater doesn't mean he's not an athlete… im sure nike has had spokespeople that have cheated before… just leave it alone…

Jesus christ my saviour is able to save. he will forgive is you are truly sorry for your sins and repent. adultery is a sin as much as much as sodomy is. they both relsult in destruction. the suicide rate amoung homosexuals is the highest in scociety. just give your burden to jesus. he is a loving god. he is not willing atht any should perish but that all should come to repentance. he is lall loving but he hates sin……

  6. 6

Tiger should quit lying about the "STEROIDS" since no one is calling him on his miraculous body transformation!

  7. 7

Let's see how well he swings his thing on the links before we decide.

  8. 8

eh, who cares. I mean why drop him over cheating really? Lots of people cheat don't they? I mean I was glad we didn't drop Bill Clinton for cheating too. He was a pretty good President and it wasn't really that big and issue as far as the Presidency was concerned so I don't really care what Nike does. Not only that golf is about as exciting to me as watching paint dry so I don't care about any of it. Now if Nike was handling Jesse James I would say dumb him because he is skanky. YUCK!

  9. 9

ENOUGH ALREADY about Tiger - NO I don't think Nike should drop him! He's working on his shit with his wife behind closed doors! It's NO ONE's BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I applaud Nike for keeping him on! He'll be back and people will forget this bullshit once and for all.

Kobe Bryant got a 7 year, $136 million contract a year after the allegations, and regained several of his endorsements from Nike, Spalding, and Coca-Cola. Yes Nike obviously loves men who can make them money, regardless of what happens behind closed doors. Just remember, as there is many people who are sickened by hearing about these guys cheating, there is just as many who secretly are doing it too and don't care and are shaking there heads because he got caught. Someone (like Nike) has to take one for the team.

  11. 11

nike approves of having unsafe sex with your whores, not tipping and expecting to be comped everywhere you go. their new tagline: "just DO IT with as many broads as possible and treat all women like trash"

  12. 12

Re: candida albicans – haha i hope this is a joke

  13. 13

Tiger Woods is a BRAND at Nike. He can't be dropped because he isn't a sponsored athlete, he is a brand. It is just like the Jordan brand, Cole Haan, Nike+, NikeiD, etc.

  14. 14

I think ppl need to get over it now okay the guy did wrong but so do 90% of sportsmen. Just because the guy cheated on his wife doesnot mean his golfing skills are any less. Nike dont have him on board because hes a good husband they have him on board because hes a good athlete.

  15. 15

I don't think Nike would ever drop him. Not only is he just one of MANY pro athletes who cheat they have a freaking building named after him at the Nike HQ in Portalnd. He really is more than just a face for Nike and Nike golf he IS Nike golf.

  16. 16

no they should defintey keep him around plus you know he's good for the press right now lol

  17. 17

This creep likes to asphyxiate, urinate on, and perform the ass-to-mouth with his conquests. Why would Nike want to back this fucker? Maybe these are acceptable practices in the ghetto, who knows…

  18. 18

    i dont mind………..he's not the first……and not the last……
    plus………..HE'S A GOOD SPORT GUY……

he's not in drugs…….he's not cheating with sports……..and he's human being.
    also…….WE LOVE HIM in Australia………….we respect sports………
WE ARE READY TO SEE HIM AGAIN…….TIGER U R SO WELCOME!!!!!

  19. 19

Nike should have to drop Tiger, If they want to, so be it. It would be their loss in the long run. But if they don't, then that is fulfilling their contract. And that is respectable. We all make mistakes. Retribution and rehabilitation are supposed to be parts of our society. Even for celebrities.

  20. 20

Nike isnt dumb, Tiger Woods is 1 of, if not the best golfer ever.

where are yall with ur "humans make mistake"-talks
if u forgive chrIS bitch, why wouldnt you forgive of forget what Tiger did?

  21. 21

Re: forevermara – my mistake.. Nike SHOULDNT have to drop tiger..

Justifying what Tiger did by saying that "everyone does it" or "sports people always cheat" does not make it right. Tiger Woods may be the greatest golfer but unfortunately sometimes it's too hard to separate his personal acts from his sports acts. I can't watch a commercial of his (or anything else he may do for that matter) and not think of what happened in his personal life. I'm not saying that this is OK, it's just the way it is. Tiger Woods is Tiger Woods. He is what he is. You can't separate him into two different people.

  23. 23

Fuck this. OF COURSE Nike should drop him.
    *
If this guy is the greatest golf player the world will ever see, then he should win golf tournements, which he does.
    *
But to garner endorsements, you should not only be a good athlete, but a GOOD PERSON as well. That's what endorsements are all about. Or at least they should be.
    *
Never buying another Nike product. And getting the Nike swoosh tatoo removed from my breast (LOL!!)

  24. 24

Lance Armstrong is the biggest doper/cheater Nike has. They need to look in to the Doctors that Tiger and Lance share to do their doping.
Lance Armstrong cheated all through his marriage and Nike didn't care at all. Everyone knew it and his wife was the last to know.

  25. 25

Good for NIKE. I'm glad they kept him. He's not perfect and I don't support what he did but c'mon! He's still amazing and a nice guy in general.

  26. 26

Why not? Advertisers advertise with your bukake loving self…

  27. 27

    drop him

  28. 28

Why the fuck should I care!

BTW, business isn't wholesome…you of all people should know that.

  29. @v@ says – reply to this

    29

What would you expect from a firm whose slogan is/was 'Just Do It.' Tiger did.

  30. 30

Don't be stupid! Of course they shouldn't drop him!
People buy his stuff from Nike because he's the BEST player IN THE WORLD!
Cheating doesn't have anything to do with winning at golf!
    Tiger WINS!!!

  31. 31

The commercial is to promote the new "Quiet While I'm Pimpin" design that will revolutionize the world of sneakers and ho-running.

  32. 32

Yes, this person is slime. I'd never buy anything he endorses –the opposite.

  33. 33

Nike has him as their spokesperson because he is an amazing athlete…not because he was an amazing husband which obviously he is not.

  34. 34

News flash: Nike doesn't promote "good guys with wholesome images". They promote sports-related products, with the help of athletes on top of their game. While Tiger has proven he's at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to morals, he's yet to prove he's not the best golfer the world has ever seen. Why should they drop him?

  35. 35

It doesn't matter — it's too late. Nike is done for. People just laugh at anything by Nike, and always will.

  36. 36

hes an assholle, but that IS his personal life. he still is a good athlete

  37. 37

Nike already has shown their true colors. Even if they dropped him now, I would still never buy any of their products. Nike could care less about family values, and I would still like to know who over there has made such decisions. All these years if I had known about Nike, I would of never ever invested in them. The fact Elin sported it shows me she doesnt care about her own family values.

  38. 38

I will never buy anything Nike again! EVER!!!!!!!

  39. 39

I don't care if Nike drops him or not. I love Nike

  40. 40

It pisses me of when ppl say his personal life doesnt have nothing to do with his sports abillities ……..so let me ask u this if it came out that he has sex with lil kids would ppl still say ah it has nothing to do with him being a good golfer?!?!

This hipocrisy is beyond rude in those years where men cheat so much and women give their partners too much freedom

  41. 41

NIKE KNOWS THAT ALL THE ATHLETES CHEATS. SO GET OVER IT. I TIRED OF STORIES ABOUT TIGER

  42. 42

Once he starts golfing and winning again, people will forget all about the cheating. Yah he might not be that wholesome image that everyone thought he was but who fucking cares. Hes an athlete and a damn good one. Oh wowwww some companies dropped him. Dudes the richest athlete in the world and every company that dropped him doesent equal half of what he makes with nike.

  43. 43

Definitely. I haven't bought NIKE since they decided to keep him and I won't until they drop him.

  44. 44

did u run out od ideas perez?? is this the best u can do??? go harass jesse james or get laid .

  45. 45

I always liked adidas better anyway. I guess thats what I'll be rocking from now on officially.

  46. 46

The guy did some stupid things…I don't think I could ever stay with a guy who did that to me, BUT, this is his career and at the end of the day, regardless of what he does in the bedroom, it doesn't take away from the skill and talent that has given him the opportunities to be endorsed by many companies. It's something people will get over. His personal life and his professional life are not being mixed, so why should people expect his career should suffer because of personal mistakes? Just because you haven't heard of a celebrity who hasn't cheated doesn't mean they haven't. It's hypocritical that someone like Perez would be so down on Tiger for his admitted mistakes yet call other reported adulterers 'saints'. I really don't get the criteria for some people on how they decide of the two people guilty of the same thing, which one should be hated and which one should be praised and loved.

  47. 47

Never going to buy anything from NIKE, Adidas is better anyway and Tiger can hit a Ball but does he deserve to live in all that Glam taking advantage of everything and everybody..where are all those people who usually condemn every other guy if he would be nothing more than a manipulating MANWHORE

  48. 48

    Adidas for real!

  49. 49

Their slogan is "Just Do It", I think Tiger followed that slogan quite well.

  50. 50

Nike should keep him and I have so much respect for them for doing so..they hired him because he is an athlete..they should keep him because of he is an athlete. They should not care a thing about his personal life.

  51. 51

You know a lot of sponsored celebs cheat, sadly adaultry is becoming more and more common, but seriously…. How do you expect to be that much in the spotlight and never get caught? he should have known he was risking his career for those Whores! I think Nike may eventually dump him when everyone changes the channel each time that commercial comes on.

  52. 52

Stop trying to raise public figures up on saintly pedestals that they never asked for and don't deserve. These are human beings! He cheated on his wife, that's between him and his wife. It's not like he knowingly hid people in his organization from prosecution for pedophilia - now THAT is evil. All these other men and women are just fallible human beings. Your disappointment stems from having the wrong expectations. Politicians do it, business men do it, regular people do it… what is so shocking about Tiger doing it? America is the land of Vegas and gratuitous sex on prime-time TV, your shock and outrage is highly misplaced here.

  53. 53

Nike is still making money and they owe him for much of their business in the 90s. I think they are doing it more out of sympathy than anything. Nike is such a large business they could afford to keep him or drop him. So why not just keep him? He probably won't be getting many new offers for endorsements. Many companies are looking at these situations and thinking twice about signing on clients without having them sign morals clauses. Companies can and do loose money when they have questionable people representing their products.
