Put a collar and leash on that dictator-lover Sean Penn and make him go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm no fan of military dictatorships, but let's think a little eh? this is a people who have lived in a "gimme/entitelment" society their entire lives. What would be a good analogy… Well IMHO after the Berlin Wall fell all was celebration & freedon rules…and then….Well, Germany is still paying for a massive horde of people who were never inured to WORK for a living…and resent bitterly being told to actually DO something! Many of them believed that when the wall was breached it just meant BIGGER & BETTER BENNIES FROM THE JERRIES. Came as quite a shock for them to realize that the AVERAGE German doesn't want to pay for their WELFARE asses! Nor fund their vodka addictions. Oh…and BTW FASCISM is on the rise in Eastern Europe & WILL BE ALSO IN CUBA once the free money trickles away…

Perez, I normally think you're a major douche, but you've pleasantly surprised me this time. I think it's deplorable what's happening to these couragous women who are standing up for the rights of prisoners of conscience.

Funny Perez, you seem to support the man child dictator that's destroying the last bastion of freedom on earth but yet want freedom for Cuba. Without America there will be no freedom anywhere!

    11. 11

Re: bbtaddpole – There's that American arrogance on full display. American has nothing to do with my freedom so just go wrap yourself in your little cocoon and fuck yourself.

    13. 13

Re: Why You Ask? – Good, then don't ever ask the U.S. govt for help, and don't take any from us if it is offered. You're probably on welfare, hypocrite !!

    14. 14

I've been to Cuba many times (as well as the US - the joys of being Canadian) and I don't see what the big deal is. Actually, Cuba is the country I've been where people seem the happiest just by talking to regular people on the street. I know things are far from perfect there, however I don't think that the US illusion of democracy (where $$$ is king) is much of an improvement. I'm not saying I agree with government-run everything, but I don't think outside countries should get involved in domestic political issues of foreign nations just because some believe they are right and others are wrong. I love the US and have many friends there, but Americans (including those of cuban-descent) should concentrate on getting their own country on the right track as much as Cubans should with their own country.

    15. 15

Re: Gary78 – I have my own business dipshit. Most countries help each others when needed, it is not an American thing even though a lot of Americans think they are the world's savior. The US is up to it's eyeballs in debt, borrowing billions from other countries to stay afloat. Many countries have come to aid America when needed. Get off your fucking pedestal and educate yourself.

    16. 16

Re: Why You Ask? – How many troops does Canada put into war? How much money does Canada give to other countries? Nothing compared to the U.S., you all sit there and think you are so elite. When in reality without the U.S. you wouldn't be shit. You don't even have to have a military, thanks to the U.S. Who has come to the U.S.'s aid? They LOAN us money, it's not given.. I'm sure they'll never fogive that debt either..

    17. 17

Re: Why You Ask? – Yes, the the U.S. is in debt, that's why I think that we should do what everyone say and mind our own business. I think that we should let all the other countryies be an focus on our own poor, sick and menatally ill. It's funny how countries "hate" the U.S. yet as soon as someting happens they reach their dirty lil hands out for the U.S. to help them.

    18. 18

Re: Gary78Re: Gary78 – Canada was the first country who came to your aid after 9-11, taking in thousands of your stranded citizens when planes were not allowed to land in your country. We were there to help after Katrina, we were there to help with the clean up after 9-11, we were there after the California brush fires, we were there after the '98 ice storm, we're one of the few countries still with troops in your war (and many of our soldiers have died fighting your cause so fuck you for using numbers to trivialize it, Canadian troops are among the most elite and respected in the world). We give as much foreign aid per capita as the US. Our economy is more stable than the US and survived the downturn because it wasn't built on greed, our banks did not have the meltdown US banks had because Canada had the foresight America didn't. But still, Americans like you are too blind to see what other countries actually do for the US. And this arrogance is what leads people to look down on America. You think we need you for protection when in reality we are less safe because we are your neighbours. You know nothing about what any other country does, but that is typical. Your country is divided and directionless, it's no surprise Americans hate other countries when you hate your fellow citizens.

    19. 19

Re: Why You Ask? – LMAO @ "the most elite military in the world. Yeah we all hear so much about the Canadian military ! LOL Yeah "the world" looks down on us, I know that. However, like I said before, we're the FIRST ones lame ass countries turn to when they need help. Since Canada is so damn great and isn't going through the financial problems we are how bout Cananda take up our slack and "give" our portion of aid. And as far as being in danger for being our neighbor, MOST of the 9/11 terrorist came through CANADA !!!!

    20. 20

Re: Why You Ask? – Found this.. I thught you'd enjoy it… I've never met more people who are more obnoxious and arrogant and refuse to see the crimes of their own country, which are numerous and frightening. Canadian military is in Haiti teaching police how to kill protesters, Canadian corporations have one of the worst records for raiding companies and shutting them down; Canadian corps are all over asia, especially Philippines, strip mining everything in sight, even to the point of leveling entire mountains that took millions of years to form; canadians conduct the largest mass slaughter of wildlife in the world killing 300,000 baby seals each year; canada's crime rate is soaring; Toronto is now the gang capital of north America; canadians act as if their country is perfect, yet according to a recent study by the Cato Institute Canada is as close to a Stalinist state as any in the industrialized world today. Anyone ever heard of canada's "human rights" courts which is basically how the state silencing dissent. It's amazing that it's happening so close to the US. Yet because it's happening in canada, no one cares or we all laugh.
Also, canada had internment camps for far longer and worse than the US; they also had slavery for 200 years and had segregation.

    21. 21

Canada's economy has been down for years, yet the retired Canadians come down here to Fla and make the most complaints at City Council meetings than anyone, demanding us to function like they do back in Canada.

    22. 22

Re: basilhoward – When you have family there then we'll talk.
If you live in Cuba and you don't have family in the United States or anywhere outside of Cuba in a core country then you are damned to hell. In order for my family to undergo an operation they need to bring syringes, anesthesia, sheets and everything else to the hospital because they don't supply you with any of the above mentioned things. And this is what is considered a great health care system? You can send as much money to your family, but there is nothing on the shelves for them to buy anything with. My country to starving to death while Raul just sits and fans himself.

    23. 23

Re: Gary78 – Actually, yes, we do hear plenty of things about the Canadian militairy. Then again, I don't live in the US where the only news is American news. I love it when Americans shout everyone needs them when in reality they're one of the youngest countries in the world and haven't done an awful lot during that time. You don't come to our aid, you butt in. You don't help out, you cause problems. You're one country yet horribly divided. The world was doing just fine before you got discovered. Don't flatter yourself.

    24. 24

Re: Why You Ask? – And if you Google Corruption in Canada you will find MANY articles with all the things WRONG with your country. So instead of bashing the U.S. try and fix what's wrong up there. Eh ?

    25. 25

Re: Gary78 – "MOST of the 9/11 terrorist came through CANADA !!!
You are one stupid motherfucking American. Not one 9/11 terrorist came through Canada, this is a myth purported by your conservative media. I want you to show me your source for this info. Your immigration authorities allowed them in with their fake passports (not Canada), they were trained to fly planes at your flying schools, your lax airport security allowed them on the planes. I can't believe there are still people who are stupid enough to believe any different, but seeing that you're American I'm not surprised. You know nothing about any other country but what you hear on Fox or from asswipes like Limbaugh, Beck or Coulter. Get an education, you're making yourself look like a fucking fool.

    26. 26

Re: Moogle80 – Your country, which ever one that is, probably gets aid of some sort form the U.S., I would almost bet on it. Where are you from? As far as butting in, I agree, people beg us for help and then others watching us as they do nothing say we are butting in. INGRATES ! I think we shoud but out and then see how well everybody does without our man hours and money. I'm all for the U.S. staying out of others business, we have plenty of poor, sick and mentally ill people here to take care of..

    27. 27

Re: Gary78 – I just have to laugh at some of the facts that you "found". I only have to look at the statement that Canada's crime rate is soaring to know you've quoted some unreliable source. Canada's crime rate has steadily fallen this decade, Toronto is one of the safest cities in the world, Toronto is not the gang capital of North America. Not even going to comment on the other "facts", You are as uneducated as you are blind. No one is saying Canada is without it's faults but realistically, we pale in comparison to what crimes your country has committed against the world.

    28. 28

      Re: Moogle80 – Amen.

    29. 29

Re: Why You Ask Cause I'm too STUPID to know? – Well it's funny you say you the U.S. has committed all these crimes against the world yet a large aount of Canadian's put their money into U.S. banks and stocks and spend their time here in the big bas U.S. A great number of Canadians live half of their year here in the horrid U.S.

    30. 30

Re: Gary78 – No, the Netherlands get nothing from the US, even though we 'created' New York (New Amsterdam) for you. Say thank you. Oh wait, that's not true. Thanks to the US we get dead soldiers back from Afghanistan! Almost forgot about that! The same goes for other wars you started where it was you that needed help. Why would we need you? Ever heard of the European Union? European countries help each other out. Your government pays for things with money that doesn't exist. Like I said before, the world was doing just fine..

    31. 31

I live in Riverside county California…I needed an MRI not too long ago. The Canadian guy who operated it told me that their are more MRI machines in Riverside County than in CANADA as a whole. Which is why sick Canadians with any bucks at all come to the USA for treatment…and in fact ANY Canadians with skills come to the USA including you may have noticed musicians.

    32. 32

Re: Gary78 Going On 12 – So what if a lot of Canadians live south in the winter (most of them are retired or seniors, they have contributed and earned their way to do what they want). Without all these Canadians and their dollars, American tourist spots would suffer, they depend on our annual migration. You should be thanking us for helping your economy instead of complaining no other country does anything for you and that only America helps others. Canada is America's largest trading partner, the US is Canada's. The US gets more oil from Canada than any other country. You are as dependent on our country as you say we are of yours. Your arguments make no sense at all and this attitude is what pisses off other countries. And I still am waiting for proof that any 9/11 terrorist entered from Canada.

    33. 33

Re: Gary78 – And it's not the US that's horrid, it's the foreign policies and the superiority complex. I have a lot of American friends but your whole attitude towards other countries is how many people see Americans, unfortunately.

    34. 34

Re: Gary78 – " As far as butting in, I agree, people beg us for help" You obviously don't understand what butting in means.. When you're butting in, people do NOT want your help. It's none of your business but you make it your business.

    35. 35

Re: HumansRstrange – Another American lie and myth.

    36. 36

Re: HumansRstrange – With all the lies and insults thrown about during your health care reform debacle, think you'd be able to spot bullshit.

    37. 37

Re: Moogle80 – As far as the Netherlands go, aren't you having a lil problem with your government and Muslims? I think I've read quite a bit about that. Also don't you have massive corruption with your law enforcement and governement.. It's easy to be so neutral as a country when you have countries like the U.S. & England to protect you should need be.

    38. 38

Re: Why You Ask?Re: Moogle80 – I agree with both of you as far as the U.S. needs to mind our own business. I would take it one step further. I think we should cut off all aid to the ingrates who trash us and then want us to help them when they're invaded or need food or money after a natural disaster. We help and we get trashed and called arrogant and nosey. Fine, let ALL the ingrates of the world help themselves. Like I said it's very EASY for certain countries to be so passive and neutral when there's countries like the U.S. and England to take care of all the major problems that threaten everyone elses freedoms..

    39. 39

Re: Why You Ask? – And as far as the EU goes there are a lot of problems within that entire system so don't act like it working so well for you over there. Maybe if you choose to be blind then it is.. Ever heard of the NWO?

    40. 40

Re: Gary78 – Yes exactly, that's what O'Reilly and Fox tell you! THAT'S my point! I'm a teacher and I showed this 'news' to several of my students and they were gobsmacked. At first they thought it was hilarious, but after having thought about it, they actually became angry that a news channel told its viewers lies. Because it's not true. As for the Muslim situation, that's something most of Europe is dealing with, yes. It's a very sensitive subject and has been for the last 8 to 10 years. But we haven't had terrorist attacks or anything like that. The movie Submission caused quite a stir though. Every country is dealing with this situation (the situation being integration) in their own way, it's not something they need help with ;)

    41. 41

Re: Moogle80 – as for the New World Order.. conspiracy theory. Don't think I'll live to see it happen, IF it ever happens.
