Getting Lost Is Costly!
Wow! They must anticipate quite a turn out of this one!
In May, the series finale of Lost will air and six years of questions will finally hopefully be answered.
Anticipating that many of the fallen followers will undoubtedly return to the series to see how it all ends, along with the millions of viewers still dedicated weekly to the series, ABC's marketing department has released the price tag for a 30-second spot during Lost's final hours.
$900,000!
Wow! That seems astronomical!
But then again, not so much, as in this digital age of DVRs and Hulu, it is much harder to garner eyeballs to actually watch commercials anymore. That is why advertisers are eager to buy time during "event television" such as the Oscars, the Super Bowl, and the ending of an era of television.
So, while that smoke monster thing is twirling the island into a new dimension (or whatever the hell they are going to do, we've never watched the show so we wouldn't know!), there are going to have some pretty heavy hitting commercials airing right along with it!

I will be watching it live. Anyone who is a fan of Lost will be watching it live. Maybe morons who have "never watched the show" would rather see the MTV Movie Music Shit Awards or whatever it is you morons watch these days, but this is a television event because it is one of the best TV shows ever created.
I agree with Naughty Angel, they should have gone with one or two sponsors for the finale. We could see at the beginning, maybe one on the middle, then at the end. They could have charged astronomical amounts of money and probably made more from it.

The final season is beyond brilliant. I am sooooo glad I stuck with this show from the beginning, because now is the ultimate payoff. Only 8 episodes left. Man, what am I gonna watch next year?
I will deffy be watching it live. Lost is my favourite show on tv & has been since it started. I can't wait to see how it all unravels!!
I honestly don't care about this. I just hope all the important questions are answered. I hope to go to a bar and catch a party/screening in Philly! whoa!
