This broad is fierce and I happen to think her voice is awesome - but it is her self-assured confidence that is really awesome. Dig the 80's electronic sound blended with a disco feel. Nice.

Pass. Her voice is too shrill for my ears, and the song isn't that good. There's a reason why that group hasn't hit it big, and this video pretty much sums it up. No doubt they have their fans … musical taste is subjective; there is no right or wrong.

I love this song….also like the tune "Heavy Cross". Beth has a great voice. I would love to see The Gossip live.

I love the Gossip! They are FAR more successful in Europe than in the US, their home country. Heavy Cross was a MASSIVE hit last year. But there are better songs on their album than Pop goes the world. Don't get why they chose this one.

Oh, come on–"Pop Goes the World" is a great song from the 80s, not this lame techno crap. Has every song name been used, and we have to recycle them? Oh–I just wrote a song, it's a great disco/goth/punk song called "Stairway to Heaven." It's iconic!!

Miley Cyrus Insists Alcohol Is 'Way More Dangerous' Than Weed! Shares Her New Priorities As An Adult & Artist!

Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
