R.I.P.

Actress June Havoc passed away on Sunday at her home in Stamford, Connecticut due to natural causes.
She was a former child vaudeville star, whose life with her sister Gypsy Rose Lee and overbearing stage mother was portrayed in the musical Gypsy.
When June was 2, she was playing the circuit and billed as the "Tiniest Toe Dancer in the World." As she got older, her mother kept her in the same act and in at attempt to move on, June married a boy from the act.
She was just a teenager and entered dance marathons to survive. Havoc went on to star in Four Jacks and a Jill, My Sister Eileen, Gentleman's Agreement, Pal Joey and The June Havoc Show.
June even received a Tony nomination for best director in a play she also wrote, Marathon '33.
She was 97-years-old.

Thanks Perez for still recognizing old time stars that pass. She and those of her era when things were simpler will be missed.

Rest in Peace… God knows you earned a long rest.
Someone already said it, but thanks from me too, for letting us know about those that paved the way in Hollywood. I don't know if they were more classy (probably) than today's stars but I like to think they were.
Very interesting life! RIP!

and be surrounded by all the things she so loved
Beautiful and highly talented woman! A good life lived!
Actors and actresses of those days were multi-talented (singing, dancing, acting) which isn't as prominent in the actors and actresses of today, one exception, of course is the gorgeous and multi-talented, Hugh Jackman….love him!
