Stephen King Publishing Baseball Novel

It seems like Stephen King is taking a break from scary movies and releasing a baseball novel entitled Blockade Billy.
The book centers around William Blakely, a player who harbored a dark secret. And we're sure it's gonna be creepy!
“People have asked me for years when I was going to write a baseball story,” said King. “Ask no more; this is it.”
The first copies will also come with a baseball card of the protagonist.
Will U read his baseball novel?!

he's so creepy looking and i can't get past the first 3 pages of any of his novels so no…..don't really care…….
Stephen King was the keynote speaker at my graduation at the University of Maine in 2005 and was one of the ones shaking hands when I walked across the stage to receive my diploma. He gave a great speech! He's a really nice guy! I would love to see what his first baseball novel will be like!

The only book I ever really liked from him was 'Salem's Lot'. You know it's going to be like 1000 pages long, haha. *thinking* should probably get it then

Stephen King is a very talented writer, I would read this. Not only can he write, but he donates a lot of money to great causes. He is a wonderful person.

When I lived on the ‘east side of town’ - I remember going to Red Sox games and seeing Mr. King in the seats, cheering - about time he wrote a baseball novel.
He actually looks really good here. I remember seeing photos of him a few years back and he didn't look healthy at all. That may have been not long after his accident though, so that would explain it.

People clearly read his books. He is one the best read authors of all time. I've read every single book he has ever written and I'll read this one too. And no, he's not a great looking guy, but he was also almost killed a few years ago when he was hit by a van and has still not fully recovered. So, cut him a little slack.

a Break from scary movies? King is a novelist, not a film director. His books get adapted, he doesnt write the screenplays.
