Idol Parent Company Being Sold!
CKX, the company that own's Simon Fuller's 19 Management, is close to being sold the JP Morgan Chase for over $500 million!
The new owner would in turn acquire the rights to the American Idol franchise, including contestants' careers and their music, So You Think You Can Dance, AND the rights to the name, image and likeness of Muhammad Ali!
19 Management also controls Victoria Beckham's label so the new owner would have stake in fashionable elements as well.
Talk about a big change!

And THIS is why the American Banks keep failling. While everybody else is talking about how American Idol is on it's last legs. AND they are about to lose Simon who is their main Draw….JP MOrgan Chase ponies up a half billion dollars to buy the parent company. While they're buying dying or dead things, why don't they buy stock in the shows "Scrubs", "King of the Hill", Lindsay Lohan and tara Reids Careers, and in the phrase "Thats Hot!"

Anyone who knows anything about the story knows that ALL simon Fuller's major artists such as the Beckhams, Andy Murray, Carrie Underwood & Roland Mouret have clauses in their contracts wth 19 stating they can leave is Fuller leaves, so they will likely move with him to his new business, XIX Enhtertainment.
CKX has also said it is scaling 19 down to just the Idol, So You Think You can Dance and If I can Dream shows, so other assets such as Storm Models, Beckham Brand, 19RM, Fashionair etc will be sold or transfered to XIX too, so yes galleon10, 500m for an old show, a dance show, a new online show & rock icon who has been dead for 30+ years
Haing thought about it, isn't Mario meant to be working with XIX on this new boyband project? If so doing some research to get this right would involve just asking Fuller. Is this more evidence that this blog is now written by whover happens to have a laptop and wifi at any particular moment?
The Beckhams are a dying breed - they have jumped the shark and are over - no one really cares anymore. I was in NYC at Bergdorf's the other day and her demin is next to the sale rack very sad - CKX needs new blood - American Idol will not be the same without Simon - Vicki needs to stop being so desperate and eat a sandwich and get on with it. Didn't 19 Entertainment just lay off all their staff in the UK - get off that sinking ship before it is too late!!
