      Some people shouldn't have kids that is true. Ricky Martin is one of those people. It takes two -one of each- to make them, they should have one of each to raise them. They need both role models.
      Adoption is another story, the child has already been born and by unfortunate circumstances its parents cannot raise it properly. In that case one parent is better than no parent.
      It's extremely selfish to take away one of the parents on PURPOSE. Kids need both. End of story.

I am sick of selfish bitches giving birth and then not giving a fuck about them! They adore and care for those kids, and, from my own personal observation, they do every bit as well as the children of heterosexual parents. I don't dispute that an "ideal" situation for a child is an environment with TWO parents. But in this day and age where divorce is too common, and where parents too often don't pay enough attention to their children, I have no issue with gay people wanting to produce their own kids and/or adopt. I actually think it's great.
