Usher's new album Raymond v Raymond is poised to take the top spot on the HITS sales chart with an estimated 330-350K in sales!
Usher scored a combined weekly audience of 44.6 million at Urban radio for all three of his latest singles, "There Goes My Baby," "Lil' Freak" and "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" and had over 1.5 million downloads and ringtones before the album was even released yesterday.
Sounds like he's going to make a huge comeback!

Ushers last album opened with 443,000 so how do you think that opening with 100,000 less to be a huge comeback? I like Usher but this album isn't that good again. Get some new producers and choreographers. Your doing the same old thing again.

I wasn't thrilled with his last album, but this one DEFINITELY impressed me. I have to say he's done a great job this time around. For a while there, I was beginning to think that Chris Brown was about to knock him outta his spot. But, we all know how that story ended. Lucky for Usher!
Who the heck buys this old fart garbage? This is the worst crap possible. I guess this guy thinks he can scam idiots out of their money with this crap, and he's probably right.

i knew this would happen once the fake ass ushers (chris brown, ne-yo, the dream) fizzled out. Good for him. He seems like a nice guy that never really got the attention deserved on previous albums due to the fact that all these little teeny boppers and current hit makers(not singers who have longevity but just current "artists" with a sound not a talent) kept taking the spotlight. Besides… who doesn't love an Usher song? Everyone has one or a few. Good for him!
I applaud this. I haven't seen any advertising for this album and I haven't heard any of these on hit radio, just rap stations. That's fantastic that he would sell so many without having to release stills, make appearances daily while wearing the album in costume form, or put commercials about a long awaited "epic" music video, or something…..
For a minute there I thought we'd be stuck with whoever had the most obnoxious PR, whether or not the song was actually AS good as money says.

Usher performed his shiteous new single on Idol tonight. First off it sounded exactly like Coldest Winter off of Heartbreak and 808s and secondly the lyrics were so awful that I thought they had to be written by will.i.am……..and before I knew it who shows up onstage. will.i.am writes for eight year olds and guess who the audience is today? And just to rub salt into the wound out comes P Diddy. These guys are desperate and pathetic. Very sad.

Great talent…but WTF was his American Idol appearance about? This guy has proven he can dance and sing amazingly…but last night's appearance was….embarrassing to say the least…
