Carnie Wilson Collapses!
Oh, no!
Carnie Wilson collapsed on the set of The Newlywed Game, causing major concern for her health!
Carnie blamed the medication she's on for a cyst that doctors found on her neck, but the producers fear that her excess weight is to blame. A source reveals:
"In the middle of the show, Carnie went white and began to sway. Her speech was garbed. During taping days, a medic is just off-camera.
"She's managed to lose some weight but the pounds aren't melting away, which bothers her. I think now she's finally motivated to take off the weight and keep it off."
When Carnie appeared on the Dr. Oz Show in February she was told that she dangerously obese and she admits that having kids "derailed" her weight loss. Carnie says:
"I need help. Having children derailed me a bit. I don't want to be drastic. I want to be realistic. I have to be a teacher to my daughters.
"Lola started to notice commercials on TV with people who are trying to lose weight, and she looks at me. She's thinking about this stuff, and it's getting to her."
You can do it, Carnie — just do it safely!
Update: According to the show source, Carnie did not collapse. She became lightheaded on the set.

I thought she had gastric bypass surgery a long time ago? Doesn't that literally shrink the size of the stomach? What happened with that?
Don't you usually dog her about her weight ? anyways I hope she gets better.
Oh no! I hope Carnie is OK. That is scary to hear. I love her show on GSN "Unstapled." Maybe this will finally be the wakeup call she really needs. Some people don't learn until it's shoved in their face. She's had confrontations with her trainer, manager and other people on the show about her weight. So sad!

She already had a castric bypass. how the hell did she manage to get dangerously obese again after they basically bypassed her stomach?!
Is it just me? I DO NOT think she looks anywhere near OBESE!!!!!!!!

its still up to the patient to maintain it. that sucks for her though.
You can gain weight back after gastric bypass. If you keep over stuffing your stomach, it will expand. It's not a quick fix. Something like only 20% of people who have gastric bypass make it to their goal weight. I lost all sympathy for Carnie after seeing her on Celeb Fit Club. She didn't want to do anything and had an excuse for EVERYTHING. She argued with the doctor saying that diet and exercise do not work to lose weight. IMO, she will always be fat until she gets her head straightened out.
Being thin is a lifestyle; a way of life. It is not a diet. Not some temporary prepackaged meal gig. Not some stomach stapling to force weight loss. It's a decision to live the rest of your life as part of the exercise and low calorie eating segment of society. If you don't commit to this lifelong way of living you will gain weight then maybe lose it again and probably keep on yo-yoing. It's just that simple. Unless, of course, you are one of those rare people who can get way into adulthood and still pretty much eat what you want and stay thin.
Her gastric bypass worked just fine, but she made the mistake of having it before she had kids. Any GBP surgeon will tell you to have your kids first.

So you'll encourage her to lose weight, but not that Precious whale?! It amazes me that you can flip from one view to the complete opposite in a matter of days/weeks.

fat fat..very gross…she needs to lose weight. Not just for her but for her kids. I dont understand how she can have access to so many trainers and cooks and still be fat. So bad…stop putting bad food in your mouth Carnie.
first of all who is she second she doesn't look "dangerously obese" to me so to Dr. Oz Hole go to hell you have a problem with anyone that is not a size 2. You have a problem.
New ideas may help Carnie and everyone with weight problems. This is a simplification for sure but basically -
Overweight = unresolved anger issues
underweight = unresolved fear issues.
