“Charlie’s just done. And he’s quietly telling his friends he’s not coming back. He wants to move on. Leaving is 100 percent his idea.”
Wow. He must be freaking out about his potential jail time! Or he's planning on fleeing the country!

I've seen the show many times and enjoy it, however Charlie's character can be replaced. It's the guy who plays his brother who can't be replaced and is the real star of the show.

Why does he get paid so much for doing this show? The show itself is not very good at all, and the nephew's character is just bad in all kinds of ways. two and a half men has being a great show and i love that he has played up to his bad boy image and turned it into a joke rather than try to deny it but he's right to leave. it doesn't have much longer left anyway although the writers for the last season certainly did a good job. but anyway it;s no biggie to leave at this stage.

if this is true, i hope they just cancel the show all together. the kid and rose were the people that made this show funny and now that rose is gone and the kid is just not as funny now that he's older, it's pretty boring to watch. i'll take watching repeats of the first two seasons over new episodes of this show any day.

I just got into it and its totally funny. Chauvinistic, raunchy, witty, and even more amusing because my grandparents love it. He will be missed.
