Workers Injured Constructing Elton John's Stage

While setting up the stage for Elton John's concert at Mexico's Chichen Itza, workers were injured as the lighting rails collapsed during construction.
Two workers were treated at the hospital and release while the other suffered a broken leg.
And luckily Chichen Itza, the site of 1,200-year-old Mayan ruins, was not damaged in the incident.
The event on Saturday will not be cancelled.
Glad everyone was okay.

My gosh, Chichen Itza? How the hell could anyone play a concert with the type of heat that regions sees this time of the year? When my husband and I went there on our honeymoon in May two years ago it was literally 115 degrees the day we toured it. Hope they have some industrial fans for the stage!
i just totally moved here to yucatan, mexico ater living my whole 18 years in texas & i agree the heat is amazing, don't get me wrong i HATE IT! and texas is hot too but over there its dry! and this one's a humid weather..so as long as you feel hot, you'll be sweating like a pig! :S
but its ok, its not like if i live outside lol!
