It's that time of the month! The iPad is on sale!

Though experts estimated the iPad selling double the figure. the iPad sold over 300,000 units in its first weekend of sale, including the pre-orders.

That's nothing to snuff about, but wonder how long it will take those 300,000 to find something wrong with it!

      Ipad really is for idiots… it's just an expensive toy. If you already have an Iphone and a laptop… and still buy an Ipad. Your intelligence is really questionable.

      It is actually really awesome. I don't like the iphone because of the pop up keyboard being tiny, on the ipad it is almost the same size as an actual keyboard. It is perfect for traveling and has some great features not on laptops/iphone.

      For what I need computers for, the iPad is pretty useless to me. I have an ipod touch which essentially does the same damn thing.

      Other people can buy it, not my place to tell them what they can and can't do. But for me, the thing is useless.

      You can't replace the battery in that thing either can you?

      i wouldnt buy one because when shit like this comes out theres ALWAYS problems with it. but macs trump pc's by far, but ill stick to a mac book instead of this lame ass thing

      Always thought the Ipad was just a giant Itouch when I first heard about it, but over time i've been turned onto it. I wouldn't get this generation, I would wait for them to release an Ipad with a isight camera. However, my main interest is the potential for fantastic apps for publications. (Like Wired). (Being someone in the magazine industry). Mind you, perez could probably create a great interactive app too.

      MAC is the best is doesn't crash and is hard to get viruses…I used PC for years switched to MAC and would never buy a PC again! I have an iphone and will get an IPAD…MAC is the best!

      Gee, can't use flash or stream anything useful to it unlike a netbook or notebook. Smells like epic fail to me…

      I've been playing with mine all weekend and nothing wrong with it yet! LOVE LOVE LOVE my iPad. But still…iPad is a really bad name.

      I wonder if any of those people who slept on the streets to get one, and probably felt it was some great, big, fun adventure, realize that many hundreds of thousands, sleep on the streets, every night. In fact, 3 million people in Haiti, who suffered one of the greatest losses of human life, still contine to remain homeless. America's gluttony for these ridiculous toys, that will be obsolete in a year, is astonishing. Send that $500 to a homeless shelter, donate it to City Harvest, send it to Haitian relief, instead of wasting it on yet another self-indulgent gadget, yet another thing for people have their faces buried in, instead of paying attention to what's going on around them. I live in NYC, and I'm sure the I-Pad will makes it's subway debut, sooner than later. It will become the "gold chain" of the 80's, people getting robbed for it. Let the I-Pad jacking begin!!

      sure its a toy you idiots!!! its a GREAT TOY, so what I have an iPhone and a macbook pro and an iMac if I can afford it, and I can watch TEN hours of movies on a flight from LA to Paris instead of watching lame ass episodes of 2 1/2 Men!!! its WORTH IT!!
      You can text from it, you can make art, you can email, you can have all your music, watch movies, tons of apps and games. I was never into reading a book on Kindle, but this reader is awesome!! pages turn like a regular book I could totally read on it. iPAD ROCKS!!!!

      I just walked into the mac store in Pasadena at 1PM on Saturday and bought one. No line. No hassle. I love it.

      It is definitely not for idiots. It is incredible and will change the way we compute. I no longer need most of my other gadgets and we're already using it for full-house electronic control. Some of the apps are amazing. I didn't fully grasp it until we got it Saturday. Amazing… simply amazing.

      The ipad is great no need for a laptop when traveling. All the people ragging on the ipad just can't afford one.

      These Ipads only have standard wi-fi so just like the Iphone Apple are going to bring out a new Ipad with 3G in a couple of months. Sucks to someone who has just bought one now hahahaha!!

      The iPad honestly sucks, Apple makes the shittiest products, and they ALWAYS break as soon as the warranty is up, and not everyone can afford to replace them. Nobody I know has had any long-lasting Apple product. FAIL!
