Ready For Star Wars: The Comedy Series??

This is officially the worst idea ever.

Lucasfilm Animation has teamed with Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, the creators of Robot Chicken, to create a Star Wars comedy series!

WTF?? Seriously??

Green says:

“The Star Wars universe is so dense and rich; it’s crazy to think that there aren’t normal, mundane everyday problems in a world so well-defined. And it’s even crazier to think of what those problems might be, since it’s all set in a galaxy far, far away. What do these characters do when they’re not overthrowing Empires?”

Yeah.

We think we're going to skip this one.

What do U think?? Do U want to watch a Star Wars comedy series??

Wasn't the original a comedy? I sure as hell got some chuckles out of it!

Fleet Admiral Gene Roddenberry gave the supreme command that NO blooper footage would ever be released to civillians so as not to diminish the shining beacon of bravery, intelligence, compassion & nobility in the forward arc of humanity & indeed all sentient beings (except for maybe Romulans & the Borg), that is Star Trek.
And the crew made it so…

Actually I WOULD watch this. Robot Chicken is hilarious, I like that kind of irreverant humor Seth is known for. His Star Wars Robot Chicken show was funny.

one thing both you and Seth Green have in common Mario…

is that you both need to reeeeeel it back in…

much like you, Seth needs to famewhore off of others,
in this case, someone else's ideas, rather than be an original

if Seth thinks he can out wit his own boss Seth MacFarlane,
than he's almost as deluded as you are Mario…

    almost

    Re: 2commit
I disagree…..close but it was his Perez tour or whatever he called that gay parade of terrible music he had.

  18. 18

I think it could be hilarious; it of course depends on the quality of the writing and talent involved.

  19. 19

It actually does sound like a good idea.

to be honest, perez….they dont know what to do…i mean come on, STAR WARS!! its a classic movie! its a movie that hit everybody and they will remember it for decades…
im a big FAN OF STARS WARS AND SO OF MY BROTHERS. so i dont agree with that. huh…star wars comedy…fuck it.

Star Wars + Seth Green = yes HUH!! Call me a geek, and give me a lot of pot. I'd love to. ^_^

Hey, it could be worse. They might have been inspired by Star Trek, which is ironic in itself.

I wouldn't mind seeing an animated version of the old Mel Brooks Star Wars parody-Space Balls. It would probably make for a funnier animation version of the Star Wars saga.

    Space Balls?
