Glambert A Mentor On American Idol

We don't mean to belittle the Glambert, but if you are going to start digging into the pool of Idols for mentors, shouldn't you start with some that have had REAL success. Carrie Underwood? Kelly Clarkson? Hell, Clay Aiken???

Whatever, your show!

Producers from American Idol confirm that last season's runner-up, Adam Lambert, will be mentoring this season's contestants the April 13 episode. No word on theme yet, but we're sure it will have something to do with rock-and-roll.

Hopefully, that will liven up the humdrum season a bit!

THERE IS NO IDOL I WOULD RATHER SEE MORE THAN ADAM !!!HE IS THE BEST THERE HAS BEEN. HE RAISED THE BAR SO HIGH THEY SHOULD JUST SHUT THAT SHOW DOWN NOW.

Oh come on Perez - Adam has achieved more success than Carrie or Clay!!! I live in New Zealand and over here Carrie Underwood and Clay Aiken arent ever on the radio, nobody gives a shit. Adam Lambert, however, is constantly climbing the charts and I hear his songs every time I turn on the radio. Point being, he is internationally recognised wheras Clay and Carrie really aren't. He has every right to mentor the contestants.

One more reason AI is going down the tubes. Simon is right to leave a sinking ship. Not to take anything away from some of the mentors, but shouldn't you have a little experience under your belt before you start advising people on their music careers?

Re: BrightLights__ – Dearheart, all these wonderful "friends" were only nice to him on 'Idol' just so they could sell their back catalogues, but have any of them collaborated with Madame Glambert SINCE 'Idol'. Don't think so. Will any of these "friends" collaborate with him in the future? Don't think so, but let's see. Worldwide Superstardom? Only in his OWN MIND and nowhere else. Jeez, you couldn't be any more deluded if you tried. If Europe wants him they can HAVE HIM, and don't forget - THEY think David Hasselhoff's music is the shit too. LOL!!!

Too bad he didn't tone down his makeup and hair. He needs to go back with how he looked when he was on AI. If he looked like he did last night when he was competing, he would not have made it past Hollywood week. Guyliner is one thing, but he just looks weird now. Glad he did not wear the outfit that he wore in Austrailia. That was so pathetic. No longer a fan.

Okay look.Perez,a little change of opinion don't you think? Is it because of his Susan Boyle comment or what?Just, shut up you moron!I loved you Perez but you disappointed me!Adam is amazing and he deserves everything he has!And yes,he doesn't need that much Kelly Clarkson,Carrie Underwood expirience or whatever. He is better than all of them.Better singer, better performer…So he will be giving the contestants advices how to perform on American Idol cause he was the best contestant they have ever had on the show!
