This shows that she has a big heart and that no matter what her problems are, she means the best. She looked tired, but she isn't trying to impress anyone, for once. BRING OUT YOUR ALBUM GIRL PEOPLE WILL LOVE IT!!!
i think her heart is in the right place.
I have just watched the first part so far and I don't care what her true intentions are (I'm sure they're good anyway) as long as someone is helping these people they have my respect. I hope one day I can get over there and do something and maybe even adopt from India as well. It's a country so full of beauty but also so much tragedy.
Thats right, she lied about being there in the middle of it when a sweat shop was busted and it turned out the place had been busted like a week before she got into the country. Sorry, but she can pretend to do good all she wants, but if you are lying about subjects like that, then you are way more interested in being an attention whore than you are about doing anything good. If she WERE interested in doing anything good, why is she back to club hopping now and not doing more charity? She doesn't have a job, she has plenty of time. But of course, she isn't really interested in it, just in trying to get a little attention for herself.
Wow, she's so smart when shes sober!! can't believe it, i really think she means well, she wouldn't go over there if she didn't care…
what is up with that baseball hat……
This is where she saves a village of girls from being sold right?lol. Good for her.lol
I'm glad Lindsay is helping to bring awareness regarding this really important issue, however, I don't think it's appropriate or helpful that she's talking to these children 24 after they were rescued, Lindsay is not qualified and could potentially re-traumatize them. I'm not trying to be a hater, just a realist.
Coke-head din't retain any of the experience …forgot it the moment her skanky body jumped on the Boeing, and ordered her first double-vodka/cranberry. Just say'n !
She is only doing this for P.R. Her reputation in the U.K. is in the crapper ……
Re: riotgrrrrl1288 –
she soiled any good intention by lying about her involvement in this documentary. and being able to read off a q card or teleprompter in a studio doesn't make her "so smart"
Just Forget That LINDSAY is in it. THIS IS REALLY GOOD!!!!!! I can't wait to see it on T.V. P.S. I kinda liked lindsay's voice over work.
Most kids in the states think they have it really hard and some don't even know how difficult life is. Love her or hate her. If it takes LINDSAY LOHAN to make this news worthy then so be it. My FAMILY is going to watch this together when it comes on and so should yours. I even appreciate my hardships a little more. THANK YOU BBC as well. there should be more programs like these brought to the mainstream.
I watched the whole thing and I am soo proud that Lindsay brought awarness to the issue. On some level i think she can relate to these children.
great video!
Did L tell the girls to leave their mother at the age of 10 and go to work for men that give you drugs? Did she tell them how to get strangers to help you outta the gutter you've fallen into at age 23?
When watching this, u forget all the bs surrounding Lindsey and her partying ways. She really brings light to a serious issue and thats all that matters. Even if the raids happened 1 week before she arrived, who cares? She's bringing attention to a serious issue and thats ALL that matters
For those of you who are sitting there and talking crap about lindsay not even being there with the children, you obviously didn't watch the whole documentary. but good job on trashing a celeb instead of actually watching the documentary and paying attention to the cause. I am not her biggest fan, but this is an amazing cause, and people need to get their heads out of their asses and pay attention.
If only India lowered its birth rate, then there wouldn't be the suffering. When people breed uncontrolled, people starve and suffer. Why can't they fugure that out? Of course many Americans haven't figured that out either.
This seems weirdly inconsistent with nightly club hopping.
I also watched the whole thing but mostly because of the nature of the situation…. I'm still not a Lindsay fan. "Trafficking is not going to stop until people take it FOR Seriously" ughhhhhh. For seriously.. like totally.. arrrgghh!
Sell all your stuff in that hoarding apartment of your, pay your rent and give the rest to these organizations or families!
i honestly thing lindsay did it out of her heart and i think it showed perez things cuz hes a heartless parasite everyone else is too… and well no lindsay may not be the most stable person but i think she had a heart.
Regardless of her intentions, any publicity or attention to the cause from people that wouldn't normally get the message is a positive.
After India said Lindsey LIED about saving a number of children from India I will not watch because she is being a hypocrite and is only doing this for publicity. Yes it is an important issue but she LIED and said she saved children when it was NOT even true. She can't even save herself let alone other people. What is that saying about her???
Thank you Lilo for raising awareness to this issue. It really makes me want to go out and do something about it.
WHAT IS WITH YOUR COMMENT - WHAT is the matter with you Perez!!!!!
"Okay, ready to see LiLo sober for longer than 15 minutes?!" You really need to get on track here with a major attitude adjustment.
It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Shows that it is possible for her to get her shit together.
I don't think Lindsay has been the best role model but this shows that she does have a huge heart if you watch it the entire way through you can tell that these children really did move her. It is an issue that needs more awareness and by her doing this I think it could really make people step back and think about what's going on in other parts of the world and what they could do to help.
What Lindsay did was amazing. It really brought a major problem to our attention. It is not our job and responsibility to help the cause by donating to charities. I noticed throughout the documentary that they kept explaining that the charities were the ones helping the young children. I plan on donating, and you should too. DONATE!!
Boring!!! She sounds like a man..& i dont think she cares..just doing it for attention
*now
i wrote not when i meant to write now
you guys should consider donating to this cause… donating to these charities is what saved these children!
does she have lip injections?
I cried towards the end. so touching! i am donating asap. charities are what saved these poor children!! and there are so many more that need helping!!
dont criticize lindsay… she brought an important problem to our attention… now we should help by donating!
heartbreaking to know what's going on over there…
i'm glad people are attempting to help, even though a lot of the families send them right back.
i thought it was a bit funny when the little girl asked what Lindsay did and she paused for a few seconds and said, "well…i'm an actress…and i sing." and the girl just goes, "oh, that's nice."
She doesn't lie about saving kids. AT ALL. if you actually watched the whole thing she said after she had arrived they had already helped kids out and she was going to meet them after their ordeal. Just because she tweeted something in excitement about having being over there doesnt mean she should be slated, What she said wasn't like she was meaning to take credit for it. Humanity really is bad if all they can concentrate on is Lindsay in this documentary. She did well to go and do something like this and if she can use her celebrity status to bring the problem to light then whats the issue. People listen more than if it was a random person. Good on you lindsay! Oh the BBC make documentaries like this all the time, TV needs to be more intelligent rather than the guff you get.
Re: tina2055 –
Well said. Whoever writes all these posts, whoever they may be, perez or not needs an attitude change.
She did something good regardless of everything screwed up in her life and that deserves props.
Yeah, she must have been quoted out of context because even in Part I she mentions how they were already "rescued" the day before she arrived in India.
this is really touching. pt 5 especially. her heart really is in the right place.
just get off her back already P
She should do more work like this. I wish her well.
All the kids working and being abused will be in my thoughts today.
Its sad, and so wrong.
like she nows what she is doing get this girls shooping or something
Lindsay's a deeply feeling emotional woman. The frustrating thing is Lindsay should just be herself and do projects she feels deeply. She has a strong engaging personality that some find "sweet". People don't get to see her and the whole made-up "wild child, mean girl, party spoiled girl" crap has taken on this unhealthy life of its own. That's not really who she is.
I actually watched this on bbc and i actuallyu cried!
You could see Lindsay cared about the kids and what a nice girl she is, she needs to think of the opportunity she has that those kids dont and sort her life out.
Theres still time and she still has tallent, great job on this Lindsay now get away from the parasites in La and take some time to heal! x
p.s follow me on t w i t t e r my names FUTURESTARdelux thanks
x
Lindz made me proud!!!
Here is a chance for a come back.
Well, i love Linsayy, and i think with this, the eyes of the world could be open and for people to make a more amazing turn to help these poor children and this failing country!
failing country? really? how much do you know about India? There's tons of suffering there, and the gap between the rich and poor is big. But the economy is skyrocketing, and there is no WAY someone could logically call it "failing." I'm sorry, you don't know a thing.
I will donate asap…. Lindsay did a good thing
Re: BarbieRamm –
For some reason I can't reply to "I'm better than you are"'s post about your "failing country" comment. It's funny that she hurled nasties at you when she's the one whose not fully informed. A country is not "successful" just because it's economy is growing. China's economy is skyrocketing and yet it'd be a stretch of the imagination to say it's a successful civilization given its human rights record. I'd say that India is indeed a failing country if income disparity and gdp grow concurrently, which is the case.
Re: kbk1972 – um, well, in that case America is also a failing country. That's what unregulated capitalism brings.
India is FAR from failing, it's the fastest developing democracy in the WORLD.
i think what the person ur referring to meant that it's pretty ignorant to go around saying how we need to "save these people" and this sad backwards country. I'm assuming "BarbieRamm" has never BEEN to India or knows much about it besides documentaries like these, which gives a massively skewed picture of the people and economy there. (Delhi for example is one of the most beautiful and modern cities in India, but in this doc they make it look like just a slum)
Bringing attention to this issue IS important, but India does not need to be "saved" by the west in any sense of the word.
someonesend the parents out to work. if they stop refusing to send their kids those factories would have to start employing adult workers!
That really opened my eyes. What an awful situation. I definately will be careful if I'm buying stuff that's made in India. Lindsay is such a fascinating person and absolutely gorgeous. I just wish she'd look after herself more because she's worth everything!
If Lindsey would continue to go to India and raise awarness and not party so much in LA and Paris I would get new respect for her. With all that partying she drags her own image down the drain. I wish her well, cause she really seems so genuine in this documentary. Good job BBC and Lindsey!
I smell curry just looking at my monitor. We are the Hindis in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your neigh-bor-hoo-ood! LOLZ DOLZ!
Re: Evie-Belle – I bet they made it.
The doc was good, but I kind of felt that it wasn't really useful in pointing out any useful solutions. Anyone can go to a country and find examples of poverty and hardship! I mean Lindsay having a go at the save the children spokeswoman at the end was ridic. 'Like, I know you having been doing this has a career, but my 5 day sober trip to India makes me so much more qualified than you'.
TBH all these ppl who are like Lindsay is such a Samaritan, I doubt it was her idea to do a doc on, it was more likely the BBC who approached her, after a bunch of other famous people declined. I am sure after filming she went to her 5 star hotel and put on her pjs (probs made by child workers)
Anywho after all that negative any publicity is good publicity.
whaaaa she was blonde before,..
