"You can get Lindsay to show up for an event in Los Angeles for $2,500," an insider tells us.

We're told the transactions are done through Lohan's assistant and La Loca is paid in ca$$$h.

      What is she doing? Creating a legacy for after she is gone.
      She has nothing to work towards, and no will to try.
      So she will continue to do her drugs, make a spectacle, because her only currency is her illness. How cliche to blame her parents and the public for driving her to fail and die.

(And even then, making $2500 to drink and dance for a couple hours hardly qualifies as "sad sad").
