Breaking Dawn is one step closer to having a director!!

Dreamgirls director Bill Condon is reportedly "in negotiations" with Summit Entertainment to direct the upcoming Twilight flick, which the studio has announced they will split into two parts.

More R-Patz and Tay Tay to go around!

Do U think the studio made a wise choice?

      where the hell did you get the picture for this from? that is not the breaking dawn cover at all or even close; its actually a chess piece. and ive never seen this version.. innnnnneresting

MAYBE SOME TEEN CHOICE AWARDS (BECAUSE KIDS, PRE-TEENS, AND DUMB TEENS WILL LOVE AND OBSESS ABOUT ANYTHING, EVEN IF IT WAS A MOVIE ABOUT DUST COLLECTING OR A HORSE TAKING A SHIT).

      I think David Lynch could make a very interesting choice for Breaking Dawn. he may know how to get round all those weird elements in just the appropriate subtle way he does weird.
      But whatever, it will still have KStew and Rpatz, so no director could make a difference really.

      Melissa "screwer"Rosenberg already annouced another "pearl": the PG is 13 and the movie is not going to be erotic baut emocional.Really? That´s what´s you´ve been doing wrong since the begginning. WHAT A SHAME! I can´t believe Meyer agreeed on doing these screenplays. I won´t go anyway. Forget about RPatz going..well ,deeper with Bella. So sad!

      Doesn't matter who the director is. When you start with crap, you'll end up with crap. This book was absolute crap. The only way to make it even vaguely interesting is to change the screenplay so that it doesn't even resemble the book. Thanks for the reminder that Breaking Dawn exists. I prefer to ignore it all together.

      that book is horrible! they shouldn't be making it into a feature film, let alone two. doesn't matter who they pick to direct, they're going to be f***ed because Stephanie wrote the book in such a manner that her 10 year old son could read… o_O Yes… i'm talking about the honeymoon scenes!!!!

      This book was my least favorite of the series. They could have done this movie in one movie and been done with it. They are going to have to add extra scene to make the book more interesting.

      God its like there is a huge group of people that love this whole phenomenon and then there's this huge group of people that hate it like it's the end of the world. is it that serious either way? i mean jesus christ people- chill the fuck out! Personally, i enjoy the series. The books werent anything amazing but it gave me something to read and the movies are the same. something to watch. and not the worst movies ever. im excited for eclipse and breaking dawn 1 and 2 to come out. i agree with the lot of you that say they need to make a smart decision on the final director. Twilight wasn't very good so why are you people suggesting Hardwicke should've done the whole series? i think they should go with Guillermo Del Torro. Would be cool. Anyway.. sorry for writing a story here.

      OH! and who the hell cares if twilight or any of the films in the series wins prestigious award? NOBODY IS ANTICIPATING FOR THAT TO HAPPEN FOR GOD'S SAKE!

      I don't even know what Meyer was thinking when she wrote it - it doesn't read like any other book in the series, the characters feel different and it is just a bat shit crazy book.

      whats up with the cover? i would have preferred Sofia Coppola or Gus van sant. well lets just hope if this guy gets it that he stays true to the book and makes 2 kick ass movies! :)

      i've seen the cover online before its a fan made one so it was probably just an error putting this one up instead of the original.
      in my opinion catherine hardwicke made everything too dark, there was no light and shade in the movie, unlike the colour palete that chris weitz introduced, it will be interesting to see what david slade did with eclipse, and in turn the director who eventually takes on the final movie, either way it'll all work out in the end even if it is pg13!
