Cheetah Girl Defends Herself By Comparing Her Crap To Legends!!!
So basically, she is delusional and we should all just pity her instead of take her seriously!
Kiely Williams, formally of the Cheetah Girls, released a rather offensive video/new single this week called Spectacular. Actually, it's not so much offensive as it is a Jennfier Love Desperate attempt to get some recognition in the music industry.
She got what she wanted, people are listening, but they don't have very nice things to say! So now, she wants your ATTENTION so she can explain herself and her "art." She added this message in the description for the music video on her official Youtube page. She writes"
"ATTENTION: I am an actor and performer. I have been so since my first role in a television pilot at five years old. I played a character when I was a Cheetah Girl. I am playing a character in the music video for the song Spectacular, as I did in the Cheetah Girl movies. Young women across the country get intoxicated and have unprotected sex. That's a fact. I recorded the song to bring attention to this frighteningly prevalent activity. It is absurd to infer or suggest that I am condoning this behavior.
Are Lady Gaga and Beyonce advocating murder with the Telephone video? Of, course not. Was Rihanna encouraging suicide with Russian Roulette? No. Was Madonna suggesting that young unmarried girls get pregnant with Papa Dont Preach? I dont think so. Is Academy Award winner Monique a proponent of incest because of her portrayal of Mary in the movie Precious. Clearly, the answer is no.
I wrote Spectacular and made the video to bring attention to a serious womens health and safety issue. Please dont shoot the messenger."

Also Perez, she WAS a popstar. 3LW were actually pretty big in the mid 2000's. Not defending Keily, but I gotta give credit where it's do. Like I said before, this song actually has a good beat and overall good production. The lyrics were really dumb but this could be a gay anthem and a club anthem.

I see people are saying that if Gaga made a video like this, we'd all support her and say how amazing it was.

Gaga has now made the impression that she spends a load of time planning out her video, and making it perfect. And if she came out with a video like this…I'd be dissapointed.

I would HARDLY call Gaga or Beyonce a legend. And you could tell on Cheetah Girls that this kid was a no talent ghetto skank. Why would you expect anything else to come from her? Shes nasty and so is Gaga the "legend".

Really, I must say I only liked the MUSIC, has a 80's/techno feel but the subject matter is shocking as hell coming from an actress who used to work with Disney Channel. I was shocked and thought the video was a parody of itself the first time I saw it over the weekend. =O
