Kate Gosselin Isn't Going Anywhere! TLC Announces New Series!
This is sure to put Jon's boy-shorts in a tiny twist!
TLC will announce today that along with Sarah Palin's hourly, brainwashed tour of Alaska, they will be adding a new docuseries reality show to their lineup this summer.
Welcome back, Kate Gosselin!
The infamous mother of eight is finally getting her own series on the network that made her a star. Twist of Kate will start airing in June and will find the now single mom aiding other mothers across the nation with their problems. Kate will use fan letters to travel and meet mothers facing their own challenges and use her own expierence to help them overcome them.
Of course, the first episode of the series will pick up right where Jon & Kate Plus 8 left off and give the world what it really wants - an inside look at Kate's life post-Jon. From there, she will be thursted into the homes and workplaces of other mothers, which is sure to be nothing short of entertaining for those looking to see Kate's type-A personality put to the test. TLC chief Eileen O'Neill says, "She will be in that person's shoes. And more often than not, it's not going to be terribly comfortable for her. She's game for things, but she also has limits and boundaries."
Yes, this we know!
We can only imagine the ratings that this is going to get! If the Gosselin effect is anything like it was a year ago, TLC better be giving her big $$$!

If she doesn’t not only support those kids, but prepare for their futures as well, who else is going to? Someone has to pay for the children to have a home to live in, clothes to wear, and food to eat as merely the basics of life. Kate has also spoken openly several times about having bank accounts for each of the 8 children’s futures (for college, if something happened to her and/or Jon, etc.) so clearly she is thinking ahead and counting on herself to make it all happen.
Yes, Kate made the choice to have children and took the risk or having multiples, but she is being responsible and holding herself accountable for those decisions as she is continually and adequately providing for them. At least she is doing something to provide for her kids and not waiting for or expecting someone else to come along and do her job as a mother, parent, and provider for her.

Jon didn't want the 6 spawn; he was happy with 2, but we all know how much creedence Kate ever gave Jon so she went ahead and had them. As soon as Kate was PG with the multis she started pimping herself out for money from television and churches during her pregnancy, then pimping her kids out after they were born. If you can catch the original shows, they lived in a modest house, lived a modest life, and in retrospect you could just see Kate working it from the very first roll of the camera.

If she cares so much about her kids, why would she take a job that takes her away from home and all over the place to help OTHER peoples' kids? Why would TLC start something that takes her away from her kids? And if she's not going to be around, she should let Jon take care of them. Those kids adore their dad, and can you really say that the kids being home with a nanny while kate is away is better than them being home with their dad?
I'll definitely watch it, sounds like a great concept. Actually I never watched DWTS until she became a part of it and if and when she gets voted off I'll probably never tune in again.

I feel the same as whatafarce and poindexter. I'll never post, watch, or read about Kate Gosselin ever again. I will also ban any show that features her as a guest star - starting with next week's DWTS. I think what she is doing to those poor children is beyond sick, and I won't be a part of this media blitz where obviously the negative attention is only making her more infamous. It's become apparent that the only way Kate will go away is for the public to ignore her completely. This isn't the same the media focus on that other train wreck, Lindsay Lohann, who is only hurting herself. There are 8 children involved. The more we talk about Kate, the worse her narcissism gets.
