Shania Twain is the latest celebrity whose career needs an extra boost, so naturally, she's getting a reality TV show!
Girlfriend will star on Why Not? With Shania Twain on the new Oprah network, OWN!
In a statement, the network says:
“The show will follow [Twain] as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures."
What do U think?? Is Shania interesting enough to carry her own reality show???

Mutt Lange never wanted to marry Shania in the first place. He'd already been married before–more than once. She threw herself at him and practically forced him to marry her. She used him to further her career. She's a manipulative whore & a bitch to her fans. Her music sucks & she's boring as hell. She's also old.
Heck yes. She's so great and has a sweet big personality.
Her life story is pretty amazing. I'm not a fan of her music, but I think she's an incredible woman. It could be a good show.
However, the reality crap I find the most entertaining features trainwrecks, so it may not be that great.
Is she still married to that old fart! Who the Hell will watch that show!

Shania is not a total mess or a sharp-tongued mean girl. That's what carries these shows these days. She is SUPER HOT though, and that can't hurt.

What a change! I love her! She's a canuck like me but a reality show? From the woman that moved into the mountains of Switzerland far away from her fans for privacy! Her and Mutt were so reclusive!
Also, she used to hate the press! I think it'll be nice to see her again in any way, shape or form. She doesn't need the money so I don't get why she's doing this. Also, she hasn't come out with a new album now for awhile. I would have done the album over a reality show if I were her!
She was another one that was so full of herself. Shania hasn't been in reality since a young teenager. Whatever she does, is scripted.

Not true! Mutt looked her up and pursued her! They got to know each other on the phone before meeting in person. It was love at first sight and married shortly after in Canada! She's not a bitch to her fans but has cherished her privacy over the years. A reality show doesn't make sense though from someone who valued her privacy so much!
I don't think she needs a reality tv show to sell her next album. All her albums have sold very well. Yes she moved to Switzerland to have more privacy but that doesn't mean she doesn't like her fans. I don't understand people complain when celebrities live their life in the public's eye because that makes them a famewhore and when they don't they are consider snobs.
reality shows are usually entertaining because the people on them are typically crazy.
I don't think Shania needs this show to make her relevant again. Country fans still and always will love her. But it could be interesting if she really does open up about her life, since she is such a private person.

I'm from Shania's hometown in Timmins. She is god there. She went to high school with my parents. We even have a shrine built for her "the Shania Twain Center" which took her over 3 years to come on over and officially 'open'. After having Shania continuously crammed down our throats for 20 years, everyone (in Timmins anyway) has pretty much lost interest. She came to light the Olympic torch in January. It was -45 with the windchiil and over 9000 people showed up to see her, so she is a draw…but I know enough about her life to never have to watch this show, ever.

Shania is beautiful, talented and has an amazing sense of humor… remember when she was on IDOL? Plus she's CANADIAN! I'd rather watch someone with substance than all those train wrecks on reality shows! GO SHANIA!
OMG I love it. I love Shania and I think her world wide fans will eat it up. Like me. I can't wait for new music from her and I will certainly watch the show. Shania is the only reason I started to even listen to country music. She has been gone a long time but when she puts out, she puts out the best music. go Shania
Shania is not a fame whore and she never will be one. I think this will be a good venue for her to re-establish herself with all her fans again. The only reason she moved to Switzerland is because of that asshole she was married to. the recluse. He made her one too. All her fans miss her so much. There will never be another country singer who will sell more records than her. The only one ahead of her is Garth Brooks. he took off 10 years and now he is back and selling out concerts in Vegas. Shania has the same kind of fans. They will welcome her back with open arms and lot's of love. She is and always will be a class act and one of a kind.

I thought she was kind of boring but after watching her on Idol I'm no so sure, she was my favorite guest judge by far!
She let the success get to her head, and allowed another woman to get into Mutt Lang's boxers. But, I don't think this woman needs a reality show, she's gorgeous, and exceptionally talented. I'm from Brooklyn, and I'm proud to say, she made me love country music!
